Let's talk about the elephant in the room regarding the Egg Bowl

First of all, yes Ole Miss has tanked as of late. We had a chance to make a serious run this season and blew it. Although we will have a pretty decent record, the season is disappointing.
However, Mississippi State is in a prime position to advance to the first college football playoff, a feat that most would have considered impossible. They just have to get by a downtrodden Ole Miss team and cross their fingers.
But here's the thing. OM and State fans alike know exactly what is going to happen tomorrow. State is going to blow it. It sets up too perfectly. When is the last time the stakes were this high for an Egg Bowl? I'm assuming never, and that is exactly why State will shite the bed.
You know it's gonna happen State fans, and I feel bad for yall that you had to travel to Oxford for your best season ever. That really was a tough hand to draw. If any team fricks themselves as much as Ole Miss, it's Mississippi State.

Less fun playing the role of spoiler.
But this is a good match-up for defense if Dak goes derp. So we will need to keep a spy on Dak and stop the run.
Finally we will need offensive production..and idk what to say here. Especially a non scrambling, beat up ankle Bo.

If OM had an in game coach that was on par with their on field talent I would believe this, but you don't so.. this is awkward

No dog in this fight....but Ole Miss is hurt because of the lack of a real power run game. The OL & DL of MSU is where the battle is won, but in a close game cause its rival game and OM will fight hard.
Freeze will need to recruit several more top recruits to Oxford to pull off the west division title. Bama is still the lead dog.
But watch out west....the east is gonna flip the script soon....just a matter of time.
