When A&M beat us a few weeks ago, we were ranked #3. How do we go from #3 to playing like Stephen Hawking?

See Ole Miss after they lost to us. They got drilled by ARKIE. We let TAMU surprise us, we should have won that game.

We just can't seem to get everything firing on all cylinders this year.
Personally, I think the penalties and turnovers have just been too much to overcome in all of our losses.

Not to be "that guy" but an unmotivated team is bad coaching... especially not giving a damn in the dsor.

I am still optimistic. But it was very sad to see the team implode during the DSOR.
I had a bad feeling when we did not go for it on 4 and short.
I hope we have learned from that going into the Iron Bowl. I am willing to bet the farm that Alabama would in no way want to play Georgia this year.

This teams leadership is 90% players from the previous coaching staff... moving forward, I hope Gus's guys will have more fight in them when times are tough. We'll see.

I know this is a contributing factor. If your SR's aren't working to be a positive force it's just a matter of time. When one of them chooses to be divisive, the others have to rally the troops. Beyond Reece, we don't have another player willing to get in guys faces. (Therein lies an issue that isn't discussed, but it is my opinion that a problem exists between our SR players themselves. That is all I am saying about it.)

I'm glad I read this thread BC I was literally about to start a thread on this, but IMO teams have in a way figured out our offense this year. It's stack the box & play man to man & make NM beat you with his arm. I have held back trashing NM bC everything he's done for us. I don't give a shite about the weed incident. When he comes back to visit AU Im going to clap my arse off for him. However NM's passing hasn't been what we needed to get the offense going in the passing game. Our OL has really played like shite this year to make matters worse, but teams have put all their marbles on stopping the running game...CGs numbers have been bad, CAPs numbers are good but I think they could have been a lot better. I really think if we can get some serviceable OL play to just give the QB time our offense with JJ is going to be what we envisioned under GM. There are a lot of things Im not touching on bc I could literally write a discertation on this year's team. That's my take on 2014 AU Tigers offense.

Our OL was that good which allowed GM to mask our weaknesses in the passing game.

Why does everyone keep saying nothing to play for against UGA? That's stupid. At that point, all we needed was an ole miss win over MSU and to win out and we would be in the SEC championship which we all know with a win would've put us in the playoff.

I think people are saying that players played as if we had nothing to play for, not that we actually didn't.
