You really think he is that good. Auburn thought Chiz was good too. You had a good recruiting year, and it paid off for you (likely with an 8-9 win season...actually not bad). But, to think he deserves more money is comical. As we told you at the front part of the season, you didn't have a great defense, and your toughest games were coming in the back half of the season. You got benefit of a weak early schedule and gained some PR.....congrats. Freeze has been there three years and will not likely have finished above .500 in the SEC....yet he will get paid more.....the sad thing is that you are probably correct. I got news for you....next year won't be as good as this year was without a qb and running game....and then the year after that you lose most of that one class.....I know you don't see it that way....but anyway, happy thanksgiving and good luck against State.

LOL....I agree Freeze is not going to Florida...but NOT because of anything more than the fact he won't be offered. I wish to god he would be, but I think Florida goes for a coach that at least has been above .500 in a tougher conference....ha

People always say this as if top notch, proven head coaches with a long track record are all over the place. Regardless of how much money you're willing to spend, most programs do not have things fall into their laps like alabama and ohio state. Hugh Freeze is about as proven as most coaches out there that don't already have jobs they're not going to leave.
