We are losing 3 starters. Arie is probably the biggest loss. Who gets the starts next year? From this year it seems as though Grant Hill is like slotted in at RT. Bozeman has also gotten quite a bit of playing time, but at center where Kelly likely will start again. Bozeman looks like a natural OG though, and we have a couple natural centers redshirting. Cam is locked in at LT for 2 more years, and we have a whole class of talented players from 2014 recruiting. My guess at this point is Cam LT, Bozeman LG, Kelly C, Jackson or Pierschbacher RG, Hill RT. Im pretty comfortable with that lineup actaully. Maybe Shank with surprise us and turn it on A Kouandjio style and snag one of the guard spots. If Cotton comes in and is as good as he looked in HS, he very well could be a TF started at Guard

I still think they won't hesitate to move Grant Hill inside if they find what they want at RT. If they can land someone like Matt Womack, he could be there in January challenging for RT. They've already told him he could be in the 2 deep freshman year, and told another guy they'd move Hill inside if he committed to Bama.

Or if Dom Jackson can turn it on there, they are getting a little more bold letting him rep in games at LT.

I could see:

Robinson
Hill
Kelly
Bozeman/Cotton
Jackson/Womack

or

Robinson
Pierschbacher/Taylor
Kelly
Jackson/Bozeman
Hill

LG - Bozeman
C - Kelly
RG - Hill
RT - Jackson

2nd
==============
LT - Pierschbacher
LG - Casher

* Staff is REALLY high on Casher.......wouldn't be surprised if he fights for PT next year.

I think Jackson will absolutely factor in somewhere with the 1st 5. He will have had a year under his belt to learn how to pass protect. We know he has the talent and the mean streak, LOL!

he is a JUCO kid seeing PT this year meaning he will likely start. I don't see any kid that was RS or a true frosh next year starting over the ones who saw PT this year.

our best 5 based on PT this year will be

Cam, Bozeman, Kelley, Hill, and Dom. Now where they line up will be a different story.

I think Alabama keeps Hill and Pierschbacher at tackle strictly. This class we are signing 3 guards and a center/guard and cotton may play tackle. I could see Alphonse Taylor getting the RG nod as well as at LG possibly. If we haven't moved Grant Hill to RG for Leon Brown, I don't think he will play there in ther future. He's the 2nd best OL we have IMO. Cotton may could play at guard as a freshman if he is as good as advertised but saban has a plethora of young OL who are the best we've ever had so I think lester may have to wait a year or two. A RS to all our OL this season would be good imo except maybe cotton if you need the depth which with Hass, Casher, Taylor, Pierschbacher, maybe Brandon Greene as well. Cotton would be more valuable as a tackle reserve.

I think Dominick is the wildcard there. He probably needed refinement when he came but when he came in the game last week initially at tackle he immediately recorded a pancake. It remains to be seen if he can be a starter but certainly it seems the potential is there.

After that I guess Bozeman & Taylor would begin ahead in the competition at Guard but I wouldn't count out younger players like Casher and Pierschbacher.

I doubt any true freshman will be able to start next season.
