Alabama 27, Auburn 24. This game will be uncomfortably close for Nick Saban and Co. Look for Gus Malzahn to be especially daring--for the first time in career as Auburn's head coach, he's got nothing to lose--as he dusts off portions of his playbook he hasn't used in years.

Alabama 35, Auburn 17. Nick Saban does revenge better than anyone since Al Pacino in The Godfather Part II.
Roy Johnson, Director of Sports
Alabama 27, Auburn 24. Auburn will play its best defensive game of the season, but Alabama's kicking game will make the difference, as a late-game field-goal sends the Tide to Atlanta for the SEC Championship
Matt Scalici, Managing Producer of Sports
Alabama 38, Auburn 21. The Tide defense is coming into its own just as the Auburn offense appears to be hitting a snag.
Josh Bean, Managing Producer of High School Sports
Alabama 26, Auburn 16. Don't expect anything exciting like the Kick 6 or the Crimson Collapse - just another ho-hum, bone-crushing performance by the Alabama defense.
Mike Herndon, SEC Reporter
Alabama 31, Auburn 24. Alabama is shifting into high gear in the stretch run while Auburn has been stuck in neutral. The Crimson Tide hasn't forgotten how close they were to Atlanta and a potential BCS championship game berth last season only to have it snatched from them. They won't let it happen again this year at home.
Mark Inabinett, Sports Reporter
Alabama 27, Auburn 25. Curry Sexton, Pharoh Cooper, Evan Engram and Malcome Kennedy had at least 118 receiving yards apiece against Auburn in two losses and two narrow wins for the Tigers. Amari Cooper makes the difference for Alabama.
Andrew Gribble, Alabama Beat Writer
Alabama 41, Auburn 24. The Crimson Tide has played its best when it absolutely needs to. There's no better incentive than a trip to the SEC Championship combined with revenge.
Michael Casagrande, Alabama Beat Writer
Alabama 31, Auburn 21. Alabama has more on the line and Nick Saban-coached teams have fared well in revenge games recently. The Auburn offense will still score, just not enough.
Drew Champlin, Alabama Beat Writer
Alabama 38, Auburn 21. With Auburn's recent struggles, it's heading toward a blowout, but the Tigers will keep it closer than that because they should be able to move it and score. But look for Blake Sims, Amari Cooper and company to put on one last show for the Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny.
Joel Erickson, Auburn Beat Writer
Alabama 34-24. Auburn's defense has struggled against the SEC's best passing attacks, and Alabama's offense has been on a different level at home in Bryant-Denny.
Brandon Marcello, Auburn Beat Writer
Alabama 35, Auburn 24. Auburn starts strong for the first time in weeks, but Alabama is too strong to deny at home against Auburn's struggling defense.
Wesley Sinor, Auburn Beat Writer
Auburn 17, Alabama 16. Call me crazy, but I believe Auburn can pull this off. It certainly won't be easy in Tuscaloosa, but the Tigers have enough talent and will to close the 2014 season on a high note by squeaking out a 1-point victory in another Iron Bowl classic.

Tone of his prediction drips with Bama homerism. Or maybe that's just me

I don't know what to expect, quite honestly. It's an odd feeling compared to other years where I could semi-gauge how the game would shake out.

Gus should put a return man back on every FG even if it's 30 yards out just to troll.
