Yeah, and I'm not saying I'm gonna personally be a dick at the game. I have to be on good behavior these days ever since I got engaged. I just get that vibe around town that people are going to get piss drunk and take out their frustrations on State fans.
I don't think anything would physically happen unless you were being a tool. I have been dog cussed at away games but I have thick skin and always brush it off. You would just have to behave and brush off the a-hole fans this weeknd. If you choose to sit in the student section don't be surprised if you are treated like trash. You should always expect that sitting in opposing student sections though

I never understood sitting in the opposing student section. The only times I've almost fought at away games was just walking through the students filing out and they try to get cute.

He will probably give it a go but it won't matter either way. Bryant is probably going to be suspended and I wouldn't be surprised if Tunsil is out either.

With our luck it will have been the other way. Crazy accident in Sunday practice, entire State offense to miss a game.

I sat in the OM student section in 2008 with my NA friends. For some reason everyone was really happy and were even inviting to my presence...

That's because they worship LSU and want for anything in the world to be considered on their level when in reality they are clawing just to be on our level. You will not be treated badly BUT there will be no shortage of people trying to convince you that Ole Miss, and their fans, and their campus, and their stadium, and their facilities, and their tailgating, etc, is better than State's. As Engie said the best way in the world to disarm a hostile OM fan is to compliment them on something. That is all they want in this world. For that one little sliver of praise from anyone outside their program/school to give validity to their grandiose delusions of superiority.
