He should be able to go against Clemson and hopefully it wont affect his production, but I just wanted to post this Spurrier quote

quote:

“He’s such a tough kid,” Spurrier said. “He’s not going to come out and say, ‘My ribs hurt’ like some kids do.”

Shots fired at Mike Davis

eta- Decided to make just update injuries for the week here. Rico McWilliams is definitely out with a "severe concussion". Spurrier said he wont be playing "for a while" which sucks.

Watson has an LCL sprain and bone bruise and is still day-to-day so we probably won't find out til kickoff if hes gonna play or not

I forgot about Clowney

Haven't heard anything about Watson. I'll just make this the injury update thread for the week

Stoudt plays most of the game, we're up by a couple of TDs, Watson comes in with 5 minutes left, we lose.

Cooper is a badass, he'll play.

Losing McWilliams sucks, he was turning into our best CB (at least he appeared to be developing the best, b/c our pass defense is simply horrible.)

I don't think Mike Davis is a sissy, those RB's take a lot of shots. He's also of the mindset that he's not getting paid right now and he's just protecting his career for when he will get paid. He tried to put up big numbers in that SA game, but he coughed up the football twice while trying to pickup extra yards. He's going to need 2 amazing games to break into the top 4 rounds. However, if he doesn't do much of anything, he could put himself at risk for going undrafted.

A friend of mine here in Lancaster is Mickey Plyler's nephew. He said that Watson will start, but will not be 100%. Not sure how much validity this has, but those were his exact words to me yesterday afternoon.

Dabo will play that kid in any percentage short of him being in a hover round chair. He cant afford to keep his cushy job in redneckville and lose to us for the 6th time in a row.

if he gets thrown out of that cult in the upstate, he knows his coaching skills will be exposed.

I agree with everything you just said. From the Tiger boards last night, Watson himself said that he is ready and will play. His status changed from doubtful to questionable.

Watson will play, he's been practicing no pads all week. If he weren't don't you think Dabo would've let the 3rd string Schusler or whatever play against Georgia State? Think about it, rather than over think it, Dabo isn't that smart.
