There is no call for this crap. This is why we should go to a 9 game SEC schedule.

Yes, but UF lost to GA Southern on this weekend last year. Anything is possible.

Yep. 9 game SEC Schedule, one Power 5 team, 2 SunBelt/CUSA teams.

How? That's basically replacing Western Carolina with Vandy/Kentucky/Georgia/South Carolina for us this season.

Most SEC teams already play this format, you are just replacing a 1AA game with a cross division opponent.

I have no problem with the schedule as it is. It just so happened that all the mop up games cane on the same weekend. Stagger them out and no one thinks twice about it

I think playing 3 of your 7 home games against 1AA or 1AA level teams sucks.

If you look at rankings now a 2 loss SEC champ will be in good shape

Play freaking Tulane or Fresno State or something.

There's plenty of FBS cream puffs out there to play. They should still be easy wins but are at least an opponent that is in your own division.

And have an even better schedule argument.

10 games against probable Top 50 opponents (11 if you go to the SECCG)?

Yea, if you go 11-2 in that scenario I think you have a seriously legit chance at the playoff.

Or teams could just nut up and schedule 2 Power 5 OOC games.

IDGAS. We opened with a ranked clemson OOC and close with a ranked tech OOC, in addition to our SEC schedule. If we want to schedule a cupcake in november I'm all for it.

Agreed, schedule 2 Power 5 teams like UGA and you are allowed to schedule a 1AA school.

Except most are playing conference games this weekend. The SEC is really the only conference that has so many non conference games this weekend.
