It would be a big step forward for USC to win this game

I will personally be rooting for Scott Drew to make a comment to frank martin that enrages him to the point where he delivers a beat down of epic proportions.

Martin is more likely to beatdown one of hi splayers than the opposing coach I think

Something about the Gamecocks looks better already; I remember watching long stretches of South Carolina basketball last year, where there would be poor movement offensively, and they'd simply swing the ball around the perimeter. Yes, it is incredibly early in the very first game, but the mentality of adding more entry and interior passing is likely to pay benefits down the road.

Hard cuts, people working the baseline, and the guards getting the ball out to them is a nice thing, instead of all penetration being off the dribble.

Can't be worse watching this compared to our football team

Its our second game and I agree. I noticed it against North Florida and hoped it would continue.

9-7 Gamecocks right now.

Yep, this is a very important game for us.

We look good on defense so far. Martin has them playing the D.

I gotta laugh though, with the small crowd you can really hear Martin raising hell.

I'm surprised Steele has gotten so much PT this year. Figured he'd return to the bench with Johnson back and Stroman joining the team

Either this is the longest TV timeout in history or you don't know how to update score threads.

11-11 all tied-up.

You going to update your subject line?

I don't think the "South Carolina" above the logo is big enough

I update every TV timeout. Sometimes during free throws.

We've had a couple season ending injuries to new guys, so I'm guessing that's why Steele is out there so much.

Dammit! Carrera has to hit those short uncontested jumpers in the paint!

He also doesn't ever need to shoot threes. Ever.

Carrera is colder than my ex-wife's heart right now.

This Stroman kid has potential though.
