Why can't we have nice things guys? The next guy always seems better until he becomes THE guy and then you're looking for someone to replace him.
Why can't fans realize that continual staff and scheme changes make it difficult for players to develop and play effectively. Sometimes things get worse before they get better.

As a Mississippi State fan I have waited all of my life to have a good QB and we finally have one. LSU has had guys like Flynn, Russell, and Mett all NFL QBs in that time period. Auburn has had tons of defensive players make the NFL.
Yall just need to understand youre not going to win 10+ games every year now with the parity in the SEC west

Would you take Mushchamp?

I think Les is a great coach but for the life of me I don't understand why he won't just open up our O a little bit more. We have the talent and the coaches to get it done....I know I have seen Cam Cameron throw the ball plenty in his days coaching offenses. I know we have what we need to get it done...but, will Les allow it? Alleva needs to have a heart to heart with the guy and let him know that right now that is what we need or you will continue to see fans leaving the stadium early if show up at all. Lets hope Miles gets his head out of his arse soon.

We have dual-threat QBs running Bo's Michigan offense.

Holy frick people are stupid in Tiger nation.
Did you forget last year?

Mett was great last year. Was one of the best QBs in the country with 3,000+ yards and I believe #1 in 3rd down conversion %.
That was just last year.
Then in 2006 we had Jamarcus who was very fricking good in college. The year after that we had Flynn who won a national title.
So in the last 8 years we've had 3 very good QBs.

Would've had 4 if Perrilloux had panned out.
What LSU fans refuse to acknowledge is that, for as much football talent as Louisiana produces, we just don't produce a lot of drop back passers. High school football relies mostly on running QBs.
So when your main recruiting just doesn't produce a lot of QBs, you have to de-emphasize that position on your team. Why build an offense predicated on having a 5 star pocket passer when you have to go out of state to find them?
So Miles does what he has to in order to put his team in position to win as many games as possible. He simplifies the offense, and relies on a combination of skill players to play a ball control offense while maintaining a strong defense. It makes sense in college when you have such high turnover.
Every few years everything will come together, a strong defense, an experienced o-line, and a quality backfield, to produce a championship season.
LSU fans seem to feel entitled to go undefeated every season - even though it's been over 50 years since their last undefeated season - and somehow if you accept that fact (I still don't understand how fans can NOT accept college football results), you are promoting mediocrity and are a part of some perceived 'problem'.

True. Sports fans are always looking for the next star. So much so, that we throw a developing player under the bus and lose patience with them because the young player we just signed is the next great player, so we should get HIM in the game and let him play over last years "Next great player".

Unless you are Bama.
You go to evolve with the game too. Right now the game is evolving to faster play so Saban gets 9 DL's and rotates them often so they don't tire out. And also runs Kiffin's version of HUNH offense. Adapt or die.

4 of LSU's skill guys on offense last year are now starting or playing significant minutes in the NFL, including their 2 best WRs, their QB and their RB.

Mett, Hill, Jarvis, and ODell are all starting and doing very well as rookies.
Tough to replace a 3,000 yard passer, 1,000 yard rusher (6.9 YPC), and 2 1,000 yard WR's.
