He has a condo in Crescent Beach right next to Jeremy Foley, Steve Spurrier, and Billy Donovan. He's getting tired of being at OU. He wants to back all of his talk about the SEC. He has the Florida ties, was open-ended when asked about it in his press conference, he has had success with his offenses. The time is finally right.

I love the "he has real estate here" angle. It always comes out and never has any merit.

So you're telling me a millionaire has a condo at the beach

Stoops would be a great hire as a HC.

However, if he brings his family and friends from OU as his assistants, he can stay the frick in Norman. Mike sucks as a DC and I want no part of that family shite at UF.

Not just any beach, the same beach as the athletic director at Florida and the best two coaches to ever coach at the University of Florida. Spurrier being Stoops mentor also helps.

I wouldnt even really want Stoops at this point. He hasn't even played for a national championship since Florida beat him back in 2008. He hasn't won a national championship since 2000. I think he is past his prime

OU fans will probably give him to you, they are killing him on the radio here, they could have ran for 1k yards Saturday but Huepel had to do his thing.

So did Bob just quit coaching defense when he went to OU?

He's 54 years old, has over .800 win percentage, the coach of two Heisman winners, a national champion, a former Gator, has been to a BCS game in 9 of his 15 years, and has 12 ten win seasons in his 15 years. I'll take that.
