How's everyone feeling going into Saturday?

For the most part, I feel Cautiously optimistic.

Both teams DLines are blowing people up right now and doing a good job of living in the back field. Defensively, which ever side can win that battle has a great shot to win Saturday I would think.

Missouri is 2nd in the conference with sacks at 32. UT is 4th with 29.
(Ray with 11.5 - Barnett with 9 - Maggitt with 8 - and Golden with 6.5)

Tennessee is 1st in the conference in TFLs at 78. MU comes in at 2nd with 73.

Rush Defense: Edge MU
Pass Defense: Edge UT

Offensively:
After glancing at their board they seem pretty certain this is the same pencil thin, true freshman at QB that they played at their place last year. That makes me smirk.

There's no question in my mind we have the better offense now that Dobbs has taken over and the defense to slow down MU enough to win. Couple that with a rowdy night atmosphere and I think it's a game decided by 10 or less in favor of UT.

Here's to 3 straight SEC W's.

I'm very confident that our defense will play well. Mauk has been absolute trash in SEC play this year and I dont look for that to change. Missouri will not be able to keep up with Tennessee if this turns into a shootout.

I just don't know, I haven't been watching much of Mizzou but not sure how our pass D has an advantage over theirs. Ours has been shaky since bama

Our pass defense isn't bad. They've looked great against everyone except for Bama and SCe, which is no coincidence since they're easily the two best passing teams on our schedule.

Mauk is fricking terrible in SEC play. 79/169 (46%) 5 TD, 6 INT 134 yards per game.

His overall stats have been padded in cupcake games.

I know they didn't score a lot of points but I don't think they looked very good against Kentucky

How did Mauk play last night? Ali I know is that they score 35 points

23/40 250 yards 1 TD 1 INT

First time all year that he's went over 200 yards vs an SEC opponent.

They run the ball pretty well though so I would expect us to load the box and take our chances with Mauk beating us.

I just noticed that when they hung 42 points on Florida last month, Missouri didn't even finish with 200 total yards for the game. Mauk finished 6/18 for a cool 20 yards passing

Bama and S. Carolina games made my eyes bleed from the secondary standpoint. FWIW, those are 2 of the best passing offenses in the country at #23 & #30 though. Missouri is #109 -- I Would be shocked if Mizz put up anywhere close to what Bama and SC were able to through the air. They do have some quick RBs though.

It's shitty that Randolph is out the first half but I think our secondary is good enough to contain them and win

Mizzou's offense is pedestrian. If UT can score points on their defense, I like their chances.

Night game at home? It's a lock, IMO.

I thought the same about A&M. UT is really coming along strong the last month or so though

UT puts up 30+ and hold Mizzou to less than 25.

I think UT's DL outplays Mizzou's as well.

I owe you an apology, btw. UT might very well win out.
