I'm honestly indifferent with Boom but he'll never coach at Auburn as long as Jacobs is here. Can't say I blame him.

I can't think of a more over-rated defensive coordinator than Muschamp. I'd rather have chizik.

Seriously why do you think he's overrated? South Carolina has a total of 10 points yesterday until the last 10 seconds of the game. Yea that same team that scored 40 on us and passed for almost 500 yds. It would be a huge upgrade.

What were his defenses like while at Florida numbers-wise? I feel like he may be lumped in with Chiz in the "game has passed them by" boat.

He is anything but overrated and would be an instant upgrade for Auburn. Trust me, I like Ellis Johnson, but he's not Will Muschamp. We need a guy like that.

They are 20th in total defense right now. We're 64th and dropping fast...

I think he's overrated as well. I don't want him back. He spurned us for Texas and again for the HC job. His defense has been very suspect the last 2 years.

His defense that shut down Georgia... And kept them in the game early with Alabama due to forcing turnovers. Honestly defense isn't the problem in Florida, it's squarely on the fact that they had nothing on offense.

I don't know if Muschamp back at AU would translate directly to success like some of us are projecting. We need to calm our expectations all around.

In the SEC, UF was 2nd in scoring defense and 3rd to total yardage last year. This year they are 8th and 3rd respectively.
I don't know if I'd qualify his defenses as "suspect".
I think he'd make a pretty big impact on the recruiting trail. But hey, I'm just looking for improvement somewhere.

Gave up 600 to Bama. Lost to GA Southern...GA Southern, who barely threw the ball. It's a moot point, he's not coming back to Auburn as DC.

As it stands now we have to score 40 to beat any team with a pulse. Muschsmp could cut that # in half

I say we hire him today and dont give him a chance to shop around. tell em if we hold bama under 350 yds total O int he IB he gets 3 mil bonus
