Reasons why our football team will be better (and worse) in 2015

Let's first start with where we get worse.

We lose our best pass rusher in Dante Fowler.
We lose our best linebacker in Neiron Ball.
We lose our best o-lineman in Max Garcia.
We also lose Chaz Green & Trenton Brown, as our o-line will surely take a step backwards.
We lose our dangerous, 8th year return man in Andre Debose.
We lose our punter, Kyle Christy (but I don't think Townsend is a huge drop off)
We lose our 4 H-back/TE players in Burton, Westbrook, Ajagbe, & Joyer. Someone else will have to step up and block, as that's all these guys ever do anyways.

Max, Neiron, & Dante are really the 3 we'll miss the most.
New coaching staffs (along with a new offensive system) almost always struggle in their first year. We'll also probably have a pretty terrible recruiting class as well.

Reasons why we will get better:

Jeff Driskel will not be our starting QB
We will hopefully have a more competent coaching staff in 2015.
Mike Taylor will not be playing.
DJ Humphries will hopefully not be a starter.
We improve at QB position.
We improve at RB position.
We improve at WR position.
Our secondary will be much better in coverage. Gorman & Maye are big hitters and good at helping to stop the run, but Neal, Dawson, etc will take over next year. VH3 will still lock down one side of the field, while Tabor and everyone else will simply be one year more mature/experienced. Our secondary will only get better.
Losing Neiron Ball sucks, but Mike Taylor graduating evens it out. Looking forward to seeing more Anzalone, Jerrad Davis, Mac, etc next year.
Losing Dante sucks, but looking forward to seeing more Willis, Ivie, etc next year.
Every unit gets better in 2015, with the possible exception of o-line (but we should be fine there regardless).
I like Muschamp as a person a whole lot. He's well-spoken, passionate, and seems like a good guy who tried his best. But it's time for a change. It sucks that he will have great success at another (probably SEC) program, but it's time for a change.
Here's to 2015.

Thats a lot of negative points and I think we might even take a step back if Muschamp leaves and its not an absolute grand slam hire. Can Andre pull a Brett Favre and try to unretire from college football at the ripe age of 40?

Best LB is Morrison and he might leave this year as a junior if projected high enough....hope not.

Anzalone was in the game playing BTW when USC scored in OT...he got hooked by TE and left a wide gap around the left side (our right side)....but he is young and Im sure he will remember the lesson going forward.

List can be drastically shortened.

A little maturity from our young DB's coupled with a little coaching. Scary.

VHIII could already contribute on an NFL team and Tabor has been making some pretty fantastic plays.

Gonna be scary if we bring in the right coach and the right assistants.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't see anyone out there who looks like a home run hire.
