He's averaging 135ypg, so if we play 15 games and he keeps that average, he'd have 2,025.

He's currently at 1215.

I think he goes for 150 against State. Comin off a game where he dropped a few balls, it is in BDS, he always shows up for big games, their pass D is nothing special, I think he can do it.

I say 120 against WCU before we pull him.

200 against a not so impressive Auburn secondary as I'm sure he still has nightmares about that dropped TD.

135 in the SECCG.

That is 1820 when the Heisman ceremony comes around. If Mariota has a bad game in the Pac 12 title game and we limit Dak + Ole Miss limits Dak...I'm just saying.

It would have to be more than 135 in the SECCG. I don't think he wins it, but he's had some stellar games this season.

Amari Cooper has had too good of a season for us not to win a national championship IMO.

Fitzgerald- 92rec. 1672yds. 18.2avg. 22tds.

Moss- 96rec. 1820yes. 19.0avg. 26tds.

I think he'll make it to NY but WRs just don't get the love in the Heisman race.

Those were completely different races though and they didn't play for high profile teams.

I don't expect Amari to win it but if he goes for 100-150 in every game down the stretch (MSU, AU, Seccg) then he has a legitimate shot to bring it home. The Heisman is won in November.

Moss - even with those numbers, he wasn't even close to winning. To be honest, it's remarkable he even made it to NYC given his reputation at the time. Although, it was a very difficult year with Manning, Woodson, and Leaf as the other finalists. (By the way, this is one of the best years ever in terms of pro careers, even considering the bust that was Ryan Leaf. There will be an argument that Peyton is best QB ever, that Moss is #2 WR ever, and Woodson was a consistent pro-bowl DB.)

Fitzgerald - in my opinion, if voters knew that Jason White was going to come back the next year (I think he was granted a medical red-shirt or something), Fitz would have won it. Either way, this was an incredibly weak class, and Fitzgerald should have won.

I hope Amari can breakthrough, but it's so tough for a WR to win, obviously. If Oregon wins out and Bama beat MSU, I don't see Mariota losing, unfortunately. If Oregon and MSU both lose, I think Amari can win, but I think he needs to average at least two TDs and about 150 yards per game from here on out.

1215 now

150 against MSU

150 against WCU

220 against AU

150 SECCG

180 in playoff against ORE

150 in title game against FSU or MSU

2215 to end the season

Only bad game he has had was against Ark when he was banged up from OM and played in 3 inches of water.

Maybe most years but not all years. 2009 was an odd Heisman year, but Ingram almost lost his as November ended and came back to win it in December...
