Are there any SEC football Referees/Officials not from Alabama or Georgia?

Serious question - Does anyone know or have a link? How does an official get that kind of position? Seems to be a good 'ole boy club. I stand corrected if proven wrong.

Yes

None from Georgia. The REC only allows battle-tested Alabama residents who survived initiation and have sworn allegiance to the Tide.

Do you honestly think that out of the upwards of 40+ officials that comprise the SEC officiating group, all of them are from only 2 states?
Take a minute and honestly think of the odds of that being true.
You idiot.

Now that's what I expected
I know you are kidding, but it really seems like most of them are - at least the ones that call LSU/Alabama games.

I am sort of joking but where is the list? I just want to know. Why doesn't the SEC publish this information just for transparency.

None of the refs have ties to UGA that I know of, but several over the years have had ties to GaTech.

With the SEC HQ in B'ham it makes sense that all the refs come from that area, you know, they gotta go in for training and meetings and stuff.

We should consider moving it out of Birmingham in that case.
Has that ever been discussed?

Let's start off with you telling us which refs are from Alabama and Georgia.

The SEC wanted to use refs from Louisiana, but since yall were able to conspire to knock off the likes of JfK and not get caught, the SEC learned yall were not to be trusted.
Alabamians aren't that smart.

Penn Wagers is from Uranus.

pretty sure I read in an article that Wagers is from South Carolina and he wants to work a USCe/Clemson game as his last one.
