I enjoyed this. He refused to place blame at all even though the reporters pretty much tried to get him to (doing their job). And he handled the question about the fumble he recovered well.

Good read and I didn't realize he did so well running the ball this game.

220 yards rushing or something like that (didn't watch the video, could bring myself to). our offense had nearly 400 yards rushing.... and we still lost. defense needs a change somewhere

Couldn't figure out how to post an image from mobile, but Hoke posted this on Twitter. A still shot / diagram of the goal line fumble recovery...

bullshite call, but it happens. Defense and coaches cost us the game. Freshman QB had 200 yards and 4 TDs in the first half.

If you leave it to the refs in the 4th quarter it is your own fault.

I've never heard it put this way, but this is as concise and as accurate as anything I've heard. Well said.

You can't have a blocked punt for TD, fumble in your own territory , penalties , bad handoffs and defensive breakdowns and expect to win.

You can't blame the refs for being down 3 to a true FR QB in the 4th quarter at home.

Agreed, we put ourselves in another hole early on and gave it away with the gifted fumble as salt in the wound. Add the muffed snap and you just added some cayenne pepper with the salt.

We have been anything but disciplined in our approach to games. Our most veteran player and Sr QB had a major communication error. I wish I took everyone's advice and hadn't watched that damn game today...

This reminds me of the 2003 team. In terms of potential this team could be one of the best. We have a QB that is combing freak athleticism with passing ability , a RB that is putting the team on his back, best WR corps probably in AU history and a lot of high caliber talent on defense

Ridiculous it is going to waste. I can see us doing better next year but I cannot see the team being more talented than this one

That is a fair assessment and yes frustrating to watch. We have a championship caliber offense with a confused and lost defense.

Except for the fact that the '03 defense had Karlos Dansby, Carlos Rogers, Junior Rosegreen, Demarco McNeil, Derrick Thomas, Travis Williams, TJ Jackson, Spencer Johnson, Derrick Graves...shall I go on?

T Matthews will be roaming the D back field. Our LB's will be solid. Hopefully, our bigger CB recruits pan out. Roc, Jovon, JJ, along with our WR's... We could be even more talented next year.
