From Hentges' father:

quote:

“We are still planning on going to Alabama this weekend and that is the only official visit that is scheduled at this point," said Hentges. "Obviously, Missouri would love for Hale to come up for a visit and they are still recruiting him extremely hard hoping that he changes his mind in the last two weeks, but Hale is still an Alabama commit and is looking forward to his visit this weekend and we are looking forward to everything the visit has with a little more in-depth and a little more personal touch to it. That is where we are at right now.

Chris Hentges said Hale will visit Alabama this weekend. For now, he will visit Mizzou at the end of the month before his final decision.

So who knows...we'll see if he shows up. Unlikely we get this flip IMO.

Sounds to me they are playing both sides depending on who they are talking to in order to keep that school happy. We'll see what happens but I'd give Mizzou only a 5% chance of flipping him.

I'm still trying to figure out why Pinkel hired his high school coach on the Mizzou staff

He played under Pinkel from 2001-2004, it makes sense.

What we're hearing too. Good get for you guys.

I respect the way Hentges has handled it over the way someone like Elliott at tOSU handled it.

Yup. Good get and I think he's a good fit for your offense.

Pinkel will have to go dig up some 6'7" kid who runs a 4.5 with a 40" vert from some swamp in Florida who was originally on his schools water polo team.
