Bigger insult

An Ole Miss loss to us or us trotting out Damien Williams on the 2nd series b/c the game is meaningless?

This and I hope it happens. We beat Bama, I won't even care if we lose to them. NOT ONE BIT.

You hope that happens? Mullen will still try to win that game.

Yea I'd rather do something along the lines of when LSU kneeled the ball down against OM cause they were up by so much.

I wouldn't do that. If y'all lose to us, you are likely out of the playoffs.

Not if we beat Bama. A win vs Bama makes y'all pretty meaningless.

Wrong. If Florida State lost to Florida, you don't think that would impact their chances?

Would Florida St have 4 top 10 wins including 2 on the road?

HJJ, so you're telling me that if we beat Bama, lose to Ole Miss, Go to ATL, win the SECCG, the committee will not put a 12-1 SEC Champion in the playoff...? Yea, keep telling yourself that, darling.

So, you contend that our resume with wins @Bama, @LSU, over Auburn, etc would be worse than your midseason resume for simply beating Bama at home in which you were already granted a mulligan for losing to a team that State destroyed in the exact same circumstance?

Henry pls.

Late season losses tend to hurt worse than early season losses do. Oregon, Michigan State and a few teams would have a chance to jump you if they had one loss. I could be totally wrong but there's a history of teams (even with a better resume) get penalized more harshly for late season losses.

So you really do believe that a 12-1 SEC Champion will be left out of the playoff...

It depends on who the other one loss teams are. If Ole Miss was in the same position y'all are in, I would say the exact same thing.

If Auburn wins out and State loses to OM the situation becomes interesting. Auburn's resume would be better up until that point but State would have the opportunity to win the SECCG and that could possibly put it over the top. It's going to be really interesting to see how much weight they put on conference championships. I'm not sure they will be a deciding factor.

This isn't the BCS Henry. A late season loss doesn't matter any more than an early season loss when humans are making the decisions.

You know this how? This playoff committee voting you #4 after the polls all dropped you far below clearly show that line of thinking is bullshite. Total body of work.

No they wouldn't.

Based on a poll system that no longer makes a shite...

We'd have the head to head win, but assuming we beat Bama I want to add OM to this Comet of a year I promise you.
