My objective look at LSU-Bama game

In all seriousness, I do believe the game will be somewhat close, but it has the potential to be ugly depending on which team on either side shows up. We've seen that Alabama and LSU can be great teams when their players have confidence and something they can rally behind.
It really was something seeing those LSU players going at it for their coach vs. the rebels. Much respect as far as that goes and Les Miles really is one coach I love to hear and occasionally watch. Despite my homerism, this LSU team should be really good next year, and if not, definitely the year after. This will most likely be their best chance to beat Alabama in the past few years since the experience really isn't there. The talent may be, but a good bit of Alabama's team is young and being forced to play due to an unusual amount of injuries this year.
Two positions I believe LSU needs to get great play from is the RBs and CBs. If the corners treat Amari like they did Mike Evans, that will be critical to their success against Bama's offense. Runningbacks playing great will obviously aid and take pressure off whatever QB is playing in the game. If the crowd can get into the game and interrupt communications between Blake and Kiffin, it will REALLY hamper Bama and their offense and would put them in a very bad spot.
Keys for Bama? Way more simple. Blake, Amari, and our CBs. If even ONE of them is out of sync, the Tigers will give Bama hell and I'm absolutely sure of it. I think though that LSU's passing game slightly balances out the the terrible CB play by Alabama at times this year. Running game needs to man up a little bit more too. Our running attack hasn't been like in year's past; not sure if that's due to the offense though.
All in all, I really can't say LSU wins, even being objective. But it will probably be a close game, despite the smack talk I've done. LSU and Alabama are hitting their stride right at the right time so it will be interesting.
Prediction?
Alabama 24
LSU 14
Tl;dr: Both teams stacked; LSU still fricked.
Oh more thing. :inb4:

Decent analysis,I believe it will be a 17-13 type game.

Sims in Death Valley doesn't give me optimism. John Chavis is plenty competent enough to shut down Cooper, too.

I'm thinking it will be a 5 FG, 1 TD with a missed XP kind of game.

cant turn it over like we did vs ole miss
must force at least one turnover in scoring position
special teams/field position
something like bama 20-16

Read this bitch!
Bama will cause LSU fans to empty that cesspool you call a stadium by the 3rd quarter..

This is how I see it playing out..
Lsu will jump on bama early and have a 14-3 lead at the half. Saban watches film of state win and decides to take the d day approach in 2nd half. Bama makes a comeback, but loses 24-21 on a last second fg.
Miles turns bama in for stomping and cooper, 2 bama olinemen, and Yeldon get suspended 1 game.
Ok maybe I just want this to happen. :)

Bama doesn't play well on the road this yr and Arkansas gave them trouble. I'm still unsure about LSU and whether they can hold up vs bigger backs and create openings vs a larger D line.
Make no mistake about it, this will be toughest environment Sims has faced. How he responds will be key.
Bama has a great rush D, but I think at this point of the season this will be the best running team they've played. I expect the tigers to get 200 on the ground, but I think they will need 100-150 though the air to win.
If Bama gets a special teams or defensive TD it will be tough for LSU to win, but I think the same could be said in reverse.
It's a 6-9 point game either way, but I'll wait till later in week to make my pick.

LSU also has some great corners and db's overall....they did well against Treadwell, and the same guy that shut down evans last year is still here (and will be for one more year).
While Jennings isn't great, he has improved significantly on the short to medium routes, and is pretty good at the deep ball, which could hurt bama.
Should be a great game, if being honest.

bookmarked!
When is the last time bama did that in Baton Rouge? Especially with a team that has sucked on the road this year. Seems legit.
