ETA: I'm bummed about the Royals. I had them winning it all.

When was the last time Mizzou was the defending national champ in one of the big three?

All that means is that our loss in the NIT wasn't as embarrassing.

You think UK fans still care about that NIT loss?

Going to the NIT at all is just as embarrassing as a first round loss in it.

Pretty sure that's when fans boycotted the Vandy game so they'd fire Joker.

It's dreadful that we had to do that but I really think Barnhart would've have kept Joker for 5 years if we hadn't acted up.

Yeah the NIT loss doesn't bother me. It was sandwiched between a title and a runner up. The runner up bothers me more than the NIT loss.

I can relate. Well with my Cardinals at least. Getting there and losing hurts more than having a shite arse year that just happens sometimes.

Me, too. Those Cats assumed they had the NC game won before they played it. That should have definitely been #9.

No doubt. You're so close you can taste it, and then you have to wait another year.
