Completely agree about the big needed. Other than that I was highly encouraged with everything I saw tonight. Between Isabel, Gant, Wright and Teki they all showed flashes of potential. Clark and Shamburger looked good as well. I'm excited to watch them grow. I think people are going to be surprised. If this class stays together for a bit with Clark and J 3 they might be on to something.

Tell me about it Cruise. I'm not exaggerating when I say there were more bodies on the floor for loose balls in this one EXHIBITION game than there was ALL of last season. They definitely bring more effort and more team play than a Haith team. Biggest question for this year will be if the youth can catch up to the college speed of the game. Oh, and perimeter shooting.

I, like a lot of tiger fans, don't really care about the flash dunks and three point shooting. I just want to see 40 minutes of effort, something that Haith obviously didn't believe in. His teams were so 1 man against the world oriented it fricking blew my mind.

Isabell needs to be reigned in, but he's got a really smooth jumper and I believe shot over 50 % from deep on back to back state champ teams. He's a bit careless and flashy, but I think he could be really good if he buys in down the road. I loved Namon Wright and really the whole team diving all over the place with less than 2 minutes to go up by 40 in an exhibition game. They know minutes are up for grabs right now.

No one else is surprised about 15 turnovers to only 10 assists? With being so much bigger than William Jewell I would've expected to see a lot more assists to Rosburg & Post.

Rosburg missed layups at least 3 times on assists, but yeah that ratio isn't solid. Post still doesn't have much of an offensive game to be honest. They also missed a good amount of wide open shots that would have resulted in assists. As far as the turnovers Gant seemed to have a few where he was just nervous and couldn't even grab the ball early on. I thought they shared the ball fairly well on the perimeter.

Rosburg flat out couldn't finish, particularly in the 1st half. I'd bet he had 5-6 shots within 2 feet that he just couldn't finish.

Post had zero moves down low outside of his quick jump hook. If he didn't do that, he didn't score.

Hard to get the assists dishing to them if they don't finish.

Yeah, we had 2-3 balls that just flat went right through the players hands and out of bounds. I would like to think that was just nerves. They weren't bad passes. Bello had one too.

Had many passes where they made the pass and you could tell they were trying to stop themselves from completing the pass but it was too late. The game was just a bit fast for some of them.
