Love this guy's predictions. He has always been so spot on. Loved when he said Bama wouldn't stay within two TDs of LSU o 1/9. He nailed that one. Got to give him credit.

Your 9-6 predictions were spot on though.

Oh, burn. You got me on that one. Your LSU crossing the 50 one time in the biggest game of the year in their home state prediction was spot on, too.

You don't recognize it? That's 11/5 melt.

It's a bit dry and crusty around the edges, but it's 11/5 melt alright.

Not usually. It's natural to jab back and forth leading up to the game. Most LSU fans were good natured in doing so. Maximus was not, and he was adamant about what a blowout it was going to be. Perhaps he should have hedged his bets a bit.

Where's this arrogance coming from AFTER losing a game THIS season to the SAME team that we WON last week?

Nope sure don't, I can't acknowledge posts that reference melts or melting. The use of the word melt has become a cancer, much like how being rustled was run into the ground on this board.

Don't forget 'obsessed' and 'delusional'. Those are my favorites.

ETA: and how could I forget my old friend Jack Aru... No, wait, I mean 'butthurt'.

Two weeks ago it was the worst LSU team since the 90s and then a big home win over a bad team and gutting one out by the skin of your teeth against Bo Wallace and all of the sudden they are ready to take on the world?

Nailed it.

Blake Sims has looked shakey on the road this year.

He had his best QBR of the year last weekend vs Tennessee

LSU wouldn't have a chance if the game was in Tuscaloosa. IMO, it comes down to avoiding the fast alabama start. If we can get points early our guys just play differently.

If we can't run on 1st down it's going to be a very long game. If we can get to that magical 2nd and 5 consistently.. tigers win

Fwiw I don't think we can run. I think Bama gets 4 sacks and we lose 24-14. Or the wheels come off to the tune of 38-7

That's a reasonable prediction.

He also had his two lowest QBRs in Bama's other two road games, including a dismal 39.6 against Arkansas.

Narddogg81, I think you are in for a little surprise when the Gumpsters come to Tiger Stadium. Without big Cam protecting Simms' blind slide, D. Hunter is going to have a big game.

The key for bama other than the OL is Blake Sims and I think he delivers.

If LSU's D can hold Bama to 10 points or less, I think LSU wins. If Bama scores anywhere between 10 and 20 points, I think the game goes either way. If Bama scores more than 20, Bama wins.

I agree with this part. If Bama scores 20+ points, I don't see LSU having a chance unless there are multiple Bama turnovers or a special teams or defensive score on LSU's part.

our offense is geared towards wearing teams down

That may be true, but we have one of the deepest d-lines in the country. Our players will not be tired in the fourth quarter.

Otherwise lsu just goes 3 and out a lot, their D wears down and Bama pulls away for a comfortable win, not unlike the 2011 NC game.

Disagree. Neither defense is anywhere near those two(neither is anyone else in the country for that matter). LSU will move the ball effectively as will 'Bama. Some 3 and outs for both; some drives, some stalls. Turnovers will be the key. The Tigers likely can't lose the turnover battle and win, as they did against OM. 'Bama has a better offense, OM the better defense IMO. I think more points will be scored than some are predicting. Something like 27-24, whoever the winner is. Of course I hope it's the Tigers. This one could go either way, just like last week.
