That's an amazing thread. Lol. One of my favorites was saying their defense dominated LSUs rushing attack.

Uh, who said that?

In the first half, they ran on Ole Miss at will. Luckily, it only led to three points. In the second, other than that god-awful 8 minute or whatever 95 yard drive where they again ran at will, Ole Miss did make a pretty decent showing on defense. But uh... no, the Ole Miss defense didn't dominate y'alls rushing attack.

Just so we're clear, what exactly were we melting about last night? Was it 10-7 or our long history of mediocrity? No one told us.

Melting? What have I missed?

LSU played a very good game. OM couldn't accomplish anything with the running game, including keeping the offense on the field, and an exhausted defense still held them to 10. LSU is not the same team that got their arse handed to them at auburn, and I expect the UA/LSU game to be very close.

For a fan base that professes to be experienced winners, who view OM as racist (y'all sure like to throw that one out there) losers, you sure have treated this game as your Super Bowl. Thank God for LSU...helping to restore "order" to CF and paving the way for racial tolerance...

You're actually wrong. I quantified it. Ole Miss melted just enough to satisfy all interested parties. Math don't lie, broseph.

In all seriousness, most sane Ole Miss fans understand that losing to LSU doesn't matter if Ole Miss wins out, so that's that.

I agree - melts will be legit then.

LSU fans calling for melts after last weekend are actually making fun of themselves. Typically, a loss @ LSU would be understandable or expected, not melt-worthy.

The last time I melted was in 2009. I'm good.
