Just wondering, because I've seen multiple high school teams do it in recent years.
Example: John Curtis defense in 2011.

Started around 2008 or so I think. Guy named Tony Fein. He died of a drug overdose and they kept it going.

Yeah it started during the Florida game in 08. Peria Jerry threw a few fins up In Death Valley that year
