MSU could win SEC, but would be blown up by an Oregon or TCU

They have a legit shot in the conference because its run heavy and plays into their strength. But I believe they would have about 60 points hung on them by the Oregon and TCUs of the world. MSUs secondary is a frickin bobby Petrino adultery . Ole miss in my opinion can hold up to anyone. Yea LSU beat em, but obviously the game coulda gone either way. No one is passing on ole miss, and they won't see a physical run game like that again.

Unless Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb meet them in the Dome. Then they will think LSU's run game was a Pop Warner team.

LSU ran all over Ole Miss. Could not be stopped. That does not help your argument.

ETA: Auburn, GA in SECCG, Arkansas will be able to run.

Those teams wouldn't hang that on us. We would be hyper vigilant about preventing the deep ball, and their qb's wouldn't have that much time. We wear them down on the LOS and win. Plus can you imagine those teams trying to stop Prescott and Robinson LOL.

I was in Auburn and haven't had a chance to watch the game but LSU only scored 10 points. I'm no rocket surgeon but just going off of that it seems like they stopped them at least once or twice.

Ask auburns WRs how they fared. The UK QB played the best game of his career. We will be fine. Worry about Bert and 0-17

You scored 10 points....your defense won that game, and Bo gave it to them.

270 rushing yards. 2 fumbles and 2 picks made the game seem different without watching. It was dominating.

Oregon and TCU's defenses are horrendous! We win either matchup because we win the LOS and control the clock. We would score at will on them and rack up 300+ yards on the ground.

Oh yeah. I forgot that "bad bo" showed up and LSU was saved. TOP and rushing yards are stats that you should look up.

Oregon has one of the worst offensive lines in football due to injuries and TCU allowed 27 points to a FAR less talented version of Texas A&M's offense.

I'd favor MSU against either on a neutral field. MSU does have an average secondary but they have a very good pass rush and are dominant against the run. On the other side of the ball TCU and Oregon aren't nearly physical enough to slow down the Dak Attack.
