Now that bama is a finesse team on offense, is LSU a bad matchup for them?

Power offenses like auburn and Miss st. gave LSU trouble, but LSU dominated the soft offenses like ole miss and kentucky. So now that bama went to a finesse offense, is it a bad matchup for them going into tiger stadium in 2 weeks?

Bama can still line it up and run the ball.

Our secondary will be a tough match up for their passing attack.... I expect a close very hard fought game.

Aren't trolls better if you have an idea of what you're talking about?

This is why I had such trouble wanting LSU to beat OM. Dumpster fire all year syaing the end is near, win one rivalry game and it's world beaters again. LSU fandom is a fickle bitch.

alabama rush defense 1st sec 2nd ncaa
LSU rush defense 9th sec 65th ncaa

alabama pass defense 5th sec 25th ncaa
LSU pass defense 1st sec 3rd ncaa
(incidentally bama just threw all over the 2nd best pass defense in the sec, cooper got 232 yards himself)

alabama rush offense 6th sec 28th ncaa
LSU rush offense 5th sec 24th ncaa

alabama pass offense 2nd sec 23rd ncaa
LSU pass offense 11th sec 99th ncaa

so, bama is already the best in the sec and at stopping the run, and lsu is one of the worst passing the ball. alabama will be able to stack the line and make jennings beat them, which he is not capable of doing. Also, bama runs the ball at least as well as LSU does and lsu is not great at stopping the run.

There is no way LSU can lose this game

This game is going to be a lot like the Ole Miss game, but reversed, IMO. Without a few big plays LSU will lose.

If Bama makes mistakes early and LSU can score early.. LSU will win. If Bama gets fumble happy and they get away from the run, LSU will win.

Both teams play a decent game, Bama wins by a TD.

If I am Kiffin, I am calling Sims number on QB run multiple times early in the game to see what it gets me.

That's a good question. Hopefully above his career average of 40 yards per game though. It's always nice when your 3rd string running back is the hot hand.

You watch the game? Yes we won by 3 points, but you take all the bonehead mistakes out of the game and we beat Ole Miss by a good bit. We play like we played on Saturday without the mistakes and we will win
