So we signed 1 DE in 2011 and 1 DE in 2012...

Harrel in 2011 was a bust, President in 2012 is meh at best. Tell me again how recruiting rankings are not fake. We need to sign at least 3 De in this class, history says one of the 3 we signed last class will be a bust.

I don't think anyone has ever denied class recruiting rankings rank based on talent and not how a team fills it's needs.

As usual, Brannigan's not wrong he's just an a-hole. It would have been wise to sign more DEs in the previous years, but hindsight is 20/20.

Yeah I'm with Brannigan on the one. Our defensive recruiting over the past several years has been meh if we're being honest. We're playing converted WR's and RB's. Something has to change soon

Ford and Reed? They aren't the problem man..they don't play defensive end

Not saying they're the problem just that overall it seems like we're doing a lot of position switches and conversions vs having players in natural position.
We don't have the players/talent to run the defense Johnson wants. It's his second year here and I'm thinking it'll be year 4 before we're fully operational. As a result he's making adjustments as best he can and the results may not always be great
I would like to know who recruited and scouted for him at USCe? His defense there his last couple of season were great and he had some top 10 draft picks. I know they weren't all 4* and 5* guys. Kinda like the Tubs era. I don't care where they're ranked I just want them to (legally) knock some heads off
