Remaining schedule won't be easy.

UT
BYE
@UF
S. Alabama
@Clemson.

Neither UT or @UF will be easy by any stretch, especially since we have proven this season that we can lose to teams we should beat. However, neither of them are looking very good this season either so they are games we definitely could win.

S.Alabama is a lock. Or it better be anyway.

@Clemson won't be easy either but they're certainly not as good as they have been under Dabo. They have a 3 game season and already lost their first two. They got hammered by UGA and choked to a Winstonless FSU team. Also, not sure which QB has been playing for them lately but their offense has been sputtering, I think I just read how they only have 3 TDs in the last 3 games. I haven't paid too much attention to them this season but they seem to have the opposite problems that we do.

Not to mention Spurrier is in Dabo's head. So I think 8-4 is reasonable. Get a good bowl match-up and maybe we can finish with a respectable 9-4 year and even a ranking.

We absolutely can. Clemson doesn't have the athletes Auburn has and Florida is hot garbage offensively. Tennessee may have found a decent QB, but I feel good at home.

I think so, but UT, UF, & CU are all good enough to beat us imo. We'll probably go 7-5, lose either to UF or Clemson.

Absolutely. We knew heading into this season @Auburn would be our toughest test and 98% of people had that game as a loss for us. Positives and negatives on both sides of the ball but we lost by a TD. Moral victories or not, I'm proud of the way we played, and no team will be as tough as they were this week.

All the other games on our schedule are must wins. A 7-5 season is unacceptable given our expectations. We used to be the Carolina that fell on its face at the end of the season and lost our lost 4 out of 5 games or whatever. But the past few years are different and we're going to continue that. A strong finish redeems/saves everything.

Tennessee isn't that good tbh. But, we lost to Mizzou at home so anything is possible. Hopefully we don't lose to them.

@Florida will be tough but they aren't on the same planet as Auburn and we played them super tough (moral victories again, I know), we should win.

@Clemson, Thompson already beat them once there, they are struggling (barely escaped Louisville and BC and now Syracuse with one TD all game), our guys will get up for that game.

Can we? Sure.

Will we? No. I dont doubt we're a better team than UT UF and CU, but we'll play down to the competition and lose at least one to the orange crush

My how times and expectations have changed, y'all. I remember, all too well, the bygone days where we'd have been happy as hell to possibly finish 8-4 in regular season play. Not to mention making a bowl game. Didn't even matter all that much if we won it, we were happy as hell to just make one. And holy hell, back then if we had won the bowl and gone 9-4, we were all just giddy with excitement.

Thankfully we have come a long way since then as both a program and as a fanbase with our climb out of mediocrity and constant subpar expectations and willingness to accept such. We're down this year but we, hopefully, temper this down year with the knowledge that we are still the new Carolina, thanks to Spurrier.

I can definitely see us winning out. But I can also see us dropping one we shouldn't like others have said. The old go to, "Well as long as we beat Clemson" no longer applies to define the worth of our entire season. I, for one, think that says just about as much regarding the leaps and bounds we have made the past few years as anything does.

Sure we can - and I expect nothing less from them - but, as you stated, it's not going to be easy.

Perhaps this will be one of those character building seasons that we build-upon for the future. How we finish this season is very important to our future.

And we had better get Conner Mitch and David Williams so more playing time between now and then ... especially Mitch.
