This guy gets it. We were razor thin across the board and said "hey don't sit for two years in BR or Tuscaloosa, come start here." Robert was coming because of Denzel regardless, then he did a lot of recruiting on his own. Also one of the other five stars was from 20 minutes away and another's best friend was a corner on our team.

We also lucked out on a couple diamondz working out. Look at the Rivals profiles of Evan Engram, Derrick Jones, etc. from that class.

I'm sure we cheat, but news flash, so does every other school in America that cares about football.

20 years ago, if OM or State were doing something and it could be illustrated to the NCAA, then I would assume big probation would be forthcoming.

The NCAA has shown with Miami, Ohio State and Auburn that it is not going to do anything major anymore against any Big 5 school.

It is just not going to happen.

If they don't nail north Carolina, everyone else is OK.

Yep. Robert Nkemdiche recruited hard for Ole Miss that year. He seems like a great person to have in your program, frankly. It is everyone else's loss.

This is what actual rational people know. The "everyone" the OP is referring to is a bunch of nitwits and cannot be reasoned with.

I honestly don't think Ole Miss is cheating (anymore than anyone else). I think they caught lighting in a bottle relative to Nkimdeche and Treadwell due to players already on the team and then it snowballed after that with Tunsil, etc.

If you look at Ole Miss recruiting before and after, that year is an outlier.

Now, with new found success and program momentum, I fully expect them to start hauling in more Top 10 classes going forward.

They are a program on the rise. What programs on the rise always face are headwinds in the form of losing staff to other programs and losing players early to the NFL.

Ole Miss will see this next year when this stellar recruiting class from 2013 puts three or four kids in the league after leaving early - maybe first round for four players.

We will then see how sustainable this rise to prominence really is going forward.

I agree, you play childish games.

Im still waiting for an actual link. But we all know you just made that statement up. Its typical of yourself, very Auburn obsessed. You could have just admitted you made it up, but you continue. So please continue to look like a fool

God only knows how much $$ Mullen has been paying these 3 stars to come to MSU the past 6 years.

You are crazy.

Mississippi State is literally on NCAA probation right now.

What do you stupid motherfrickers not understand about that?
