Well, on my radio show today, I said Jim Harbaugh doesn't like the Nfl and would love to come back to college. His favorite food is Gumbo ant corndogs so Lsu would be his top spot

Would be a monster hire and guaranteed home run...on par with Saban to Bama.

Make it happen Gators!

Who cares? Dakota Mosley never laid a hand on anybody either, but he still got 3 years in state prison. Pretty interesting that bammer has had at least 7 players arrested on felony charges under Saban but not a single one of them has ever spent even 1 day in an actual prison. The legal system in Tuscaloser is obviously afaid of making these players bitter by putting them in prison and then having them spill the beans on what goes on inside the bammer football program

5-1, not having to deal with academics and pr image with misbehaving recruits/players, being paid as much if not more, no recruiting, no handshaking the money men, and able to practice 10x the hours for his offense ..

not ... gonna ... happen ...

I can't remember the last successful NFL coach to willingly leave and come back to college. Al Groh?

I will make a prediction.

Doc Holliday will be the Gators next head football coach.

Gator fans, study up on what is going down in Huntington…he has ties to the UF program and he has an incredible offensive game plan.

He's 6-1 in all probability Philly is playoff bound.

Dallas will likely take the division but he's in a better position than many other first time coaches are 2 years into their career.

I think a lot of the talk stems from a notion that he may prefer coaching in college to the NFL. I believe there was a radio interview with a Philadelphia beat writer who said he would not be surprised if Kelly went back to the college game within a few years. If you want to get back, UF would certainly be a hell of place to land.

That said, I'm not going to get my hopes over this one. Nice to dream, but think there are plenty of great coaches out there who would be very successful here.

I am serious here…Holliday has worked with Meyer during the runs…he was your main recruiting coordinator while at UF (acknowledged best recruiter in college during his time at UF)and his time at WVU…has major pipeline and connections with HS in the state. Has Marshall rolling in top 25 and a QB that is putting up huge numbers. I am hearing he has a great relationship with Foley.

Great, any evidence that you have ever had any inside information on any topic, ever? As much as I dislike Cowherd, the guy has connections in the business. Go start a schedule thread.

If OP's rumor comes to pass, would be very interested to see how fast he could implement his system and who would be on staff. Hope it doesn't happen

Says Chip misses the college game and views Florida as one of the top 2 or 3 jobs in the country.

Absolutely false. Chip has said that growing up in New England, the NFL was always far and away much bigger than college football, and his dream was to coach in the NFL. He has one of the best jobs with the Philadelphia Eagles, and he has total control over coaching and roster decisions. His team is 5-1. He loves his life right now.
