quote:

Les Miles’ LSU teams have hit offensive droughts at various points in his time in Baton Rouge. Despite not leaving Death Valley this Saturday, the Tigers are about to wander into the Sahara Desert of college football.

quote:

No. 3 Mississippi invades Tiger Stadium on Saturday, bringing along a defense that devours opposing offenses as a bedtime snack.

quote:

Ole Miss sit at or near the top of the national ranks in most major defensive categories: first in points allowed (10.6 per game), eighth in total defense (290.6 yards per game), third in total turnovers forced (20). Any game against the Rebels is a brutal 60 minutes.

quote:

The line is going to be the most crucial element of LSU’s offense if they hope to score against Ole Miss. Put simply: if blockers don’t stay on their man against the Rebels, the ball carrier is dead meat. Defensive linemen Robert Nkemdiche and Marquis Haynes are both destructive when it comes to ruining pockets and blowing up running plays before they even get going, and Ole Miss’s 4-2-5 defensive setup allows them to swarm to the ball like bees.

quote:

Special teams and defensive scores aren’t a sustainable method of offense, obviously, but putting points on the board against the Rebels is just as difficult as find an oasis in the desert.

This guy knows what's coming.

I was looking for an article praising LSU's offense to even things out but I couldn't find one because LSU runs a made-up fricking fairy tail offense that might be the worst in the history of college football.

I'm changing my score prediction to 52-0 with a mercy knee with 3 minutes left in the 3rd.

It was 52-3.

Also, I will let you know Sunday morning.

Really? That's kind of sad because LSU is averaging a mere 18ypg less than your own offense. So I guess your offense sucks, too.

I've never seen a fan base that was so sure of a win have to convince themselves of victory over and over and over again. For as much as you've downplayed LSU and pumped-up yourselves, this should be a meaningless win for you, right?

No I want to know now. You were getting your pussy asses beat so bad the head coach of a rival SEC team ordered his qb to take a knee early in the game.

what did it feel like?

You do realize that our offense has been probably the most vanilla, conservative offense in the country due to the strength of our defense, don't you?

If not, I would implore you to do some research. When the offense has needed to score points, they have scored points. Every single time.

I was there and it felt like any other game did that year. The coaches had quit on the team and the team had quit on the coaches. We had just lost to Louisiana Tech 27-7. Carry on though.

Oh, now you're making excuses for your shitty offense. Interesting.

FYI, Wisconsin is ahead of ode miss in total defense. That worked out pretty well for us.

you would be correct. this season red stick is sort of like a rest area that you stop to relieve yourself at, on the way to Disney world or sum shite.
