Since you bring up how LSU kept UK to a field goal, have you taken a look at the 4 SEC teams Ole Miss has played average PPG when not playing us, and then looked at what Ole Miss has held them to?

Alabama has played 2 road games....Arkansas gave up less points.
Texas A&M hard to guage, but I do know bama gave up zero...you have up what, 20? or 17....I don't even remember.

I'm not shite talking...I think an 8-4 to 9-3 season for LSU will be a great year for a rebuilding year, if we can get there....if not, oh well.....LSU is going to be really good the next couple years...I can stand a bad year winning only 8 games every once in a while.
I honestly don't know any reasonable ole miss fans right now, and I live in Jackson (Madison). It is unbelievable the arrogance. As you know, there is a long way to go......a lot can happen over the next 5 or 6 weeks.

Another phrase you keep using, yet im not sure you even understand its meaning. People are excited and to be honest after beating LSU last year, a much better LSU team, and seeing how LSU has played so far this year I have no doubt that a lot of Ole Miss fans are excited about this game and think we should win. Very few are chalking it up as a definite win, and some of us are a little worried just because of the history of the games played between us.
Again I think you are taking a very small cross section of the fan base and making wide assumptions about the whole group.
