Muschamp confirmed this morning. Says Driskel will "have a role", but that this will be Treon's game.

Perfect. A team rallying around a new quarteback and a coach fighting for his job. Meanwhile, we are too busy jerking each other off about Gurley coming back. The WLOCP is going to be a war.

Good to hear. Not having any expectations for his performance. As a team if we dont turn the ball over we may be able to keep it close. We have two weeks to get ready. If the team comes out like a sack of underwear like in the Missouri game we are in serious trouble. Not to mention GA has the best backfield in the country in my opinion with reports Gurley will be back for FL game.

Predict two brawls after Gurley is tackled roughly if he plays...he wants defenses to play soft football when he carries the ball. Our team should ask for his autograph. Probably a flagathon of a game.

So he makes the move after he's on his way out. Makes sense.

Exactly what I thought.

We don't stand a chance.
We're playing the team that blanked the team that just slaughtered us without eclipsing 150 yards of offense.
This will be Muschamp's last game hopefully, and we'll have our new HC by the end of the year.

Gurley will be kicked off the field after his stiff arm decaitates a defender

Im assuming that you refer to Muschamp naming Treon as a starter for the WLOCP. Of course it never has occurred to anyone that this true frosh qb wasn't ready to start?
To play the whole game when it is on the line and not like Mizzou when they were playing prevent defense.
He wasn't at UF for spring practice and he has only a small portion of the offense mastered ...the coaches have seen him in practice and they know better than you or I. He is a play maker and they hope that instinct will get him through a game. Don't look any further than Harris the true frosh qb at LSU who did the same damn thing basically....sooooo Leslie starts him against AU and the result? a 41-7 beatdown I believe...of course the next week they play us and insert soph Jennings as a starter.
Hopefully we don't have to send Driskel in to rescue the youngster. Muschamp is damn if he does and damn if he doesn't....but just remember he is still standing and in the ring....he has built some cred with a few influential people and beating UGA would help him a lot.
Our defense can win the rest of the games we have if our special teams and offense don't gift wrap anything. Driskel has suffered a mental block and he is no where near the qb he was in 2012 as a true soph.
Our problem is running the ball and we need the qb to help because our rbs are being tackled for 1 and 2 yd gains way too often. Part of it is that our passing attack is woeful and teams are stacking the line. Treon is slightly built and we may see Driskel as a wildcat qb who will come in on short yardage situations. I do know that 3rd and 8 will kill Treon...unless we can get some coaching to design olays to take advantage of the pass rush...so far Ive seen lack of creavity on the O. Jail break screens would be a very good play call once in a while and have our OL blocking downfield.
This is what has happen to Texas A&M with their pass happy offense...teams aren't respecting the run and getting a lot of pressure on Hill. He is not nearly as effective running as Johnny Boy.
Run the ball and come up with third and 2 or 3 yds to go and the defense has to respect run or pas.

It'll definitely be a tPOS fest, no doubt.

I'm really uncertain as to why people think that there's some conspiracy going on. If Muschamp felt Treon was the best way to win -- he'd be on the field. Period.
He's on there now because they're simply out of options and hoping for the best. Neither Driskel or Treon looked good last week -- and really with the offensive line...yeah, all of the problems, no one's going to look good.
I want to beat Georgia bad, but I also want to see a new head coach. Beating Georgia is always priority, but having Muschamp as our head coach for even one more year will tank our program.

So does every Running back, but yeah he seems to get his panties in a wad whenever the game gets chippy. Unfortunately for us, he's amazing... and he'll probably shake off our LB's tackles like nothing.
I'd love to see him face off against Brandon Spikes and that squad.

I figure most Running Backs don't enjoy having defenders only go after their legs. My prediction, not one solo tackle on Gurley the entire game (If he plays). And by solo tackle I mean man to man, square him up, and hit him in the chest. If y'all do that you'll be the first team to actually try to go after something other than Gurley's knees and ankles.

He wasn't anything special but he wasn't the turnover machine he is now.

what in the actual frick?...he softens defenses dude...he gets chippy cause he probably gets tired of guys that are 4th round draft picks who cant tackle him squarely talk shite about how they "got him" and "he aint shite"...after they gang tackle him...
