Let this sink in:
It is Alabama's natural state to hate the Vols. As the second team in the SEC, in an adjacent state, you are our logical rivals. On top of that, your coach orchestrated a setup to bring down our program (not claiming we were innocent). Everything about you should make us despise Tennessee.
But I can't You simply aren't significant enough anymore for me to hate. I can get up a little back and forth for TSIO week, but at this point it's not real. There's no passion. It's sort of like the different between being called a "n*****" and a honky. I just don't care, no matter how much I try.
You have been sinking so far for so long that even those of us who WANT to hate you can't make ourselves care about you. You're nothing.
