-Not pleased at practice but more pleased when he watches tape of practice
-Healthy overall
-TSD has graded out consistently as the best player
-TSD thriving playing the 2 guard
-TSD at 2 because KC and Canada are good wirth the ball bot not as good without the ball
-Bowers & Atawe are and Center and AU will likely need all 10 fouls inside
-Can't play Bowers & Atawe together because they are the only 2 big men we have
-has not decided a starter between Bowers & Atawe because MA is ahead defensively & Bowers ahead offensively
-Off the court is a factor with Bowers PT. Pearl wants good reports from Teachers and perfect attendance in study hall for him.
-Purchase is a very good shooter & passer
-Lang is competing q/ 4 serior guards
-Nason is unselfish and will not force bad shots
-Granger has prepared well and been a good leader
-Granger has a chance to start at PF even though he's a classic SF.
-Granger gets to where he's supposed to on D and is a good passer
-KT is an excellent leader
-KT leads by example
-Pearl helps him lead by getting the players to not want to let KT down when they are not performing their best
-Atawe virtually played on a broken leg last year. Stress fracture was nearly all the way through the bone.
-Atawe had surgery. He is still in some pain but leg is not broken anymore]

I don't know about anyone else but I'm so damn excited. It's been such a pain to follow AU hoops the past 10 years and to finally have some promise like we do is just awesome.

This is Auburn.. This is a new basketball school.

Sounds like there has already been an issue or two for him to state this publicly about an individual player. Hopefully Bower gets and stays focused.

If anything it probably means he came in on academic warning and he's had a reputation of not being studious.

I'm not convinced it means he's had issues at Auburn already.

Maybe. Sounds like he may have skipped a few classes or study halls already. Not a big deal. Sounds like Pearl is on top of it. With all of our attrition, I don't think we can afford for players to have classroom trouble as it pertains to the APR.

I definitely could see that as a possibility

I'd like to get your take on this. It's the 2nd time his trial has been postponed and it gives me the feeling that the prosecution isn't willing to dismiss the charges for some type of diversion program.

Hard to draw too many conclusions from the delay. Those can happen for a variety of reasons and are often more administrative than substantive. As for the charges themselves, one would think a plea deal dismissing the charges with the completion of a diversion program would be the outcome, but I don't know what kind of programs they have available in that jurisdiction. The injury to the arresting officer is the only thing that might mess that up, imo.

Is it free?

How long does it usually last?

Will we win?

1. Yes
2. Don't know. My guess is an hour or so
3. lol. Yes. It will be very interesting to see how they split the teams up. Reports are Canty has been the best player and led the scout team to a win and a 1 point loss in 2 scrimmages so far versus the schollied kids. Too bad Canty can't play this year.

Not sure. They never have been before with scrimmages on football gamedays.
