Word is that "The Closer" stayed behind in Cali and is sitting this gig out. Probably one reason why the marriage in Tuscaloosa is going well so far.

That would be the best, if Lane Kiffin appeared before the NCAA, spilled his guts, and got TN put on probation.

They do need some help in the whole being good to women dept but no. Fulmer would never go to Florida or any other SEC East team. He *might've* gone to Arky on a pseudo-interim basis, say 3-4 years to stabilize it but honestly the man LOVES Tennessee - the program and the state - and I just don't think when the rubber hits the road he'd leave. He had offers although I highly doubt he's still getting them now that he's gotten older/been out of it longer. He's been happy helping ETSU establish a team/restart their program and he's finally back at UT.
PS - I know/think you're kidding but Fulmer to various SEC schools has been thrown around before as a serious thing. And it's worth noting Fulmer's personality.

One other thing about Fulmer. AD Dave Hart has been mentioned as a serious candidate/real option for Slive's replacement. He's a Bama grad/form basketball player, worked at Bammer as Asst. Ad. was an AD at FSU (was there on the sidelines when we won the BCS against FSU) and is presently UT's AD. In his time here, he's gotten us back on track financially and made hires we're all happy with. My biggest complaint is that Hart has been too iron-fisted although he appears to have gotten better/mellowed since he first came in. IOW, he's got plenty of experience/credentials.
IF that happens, a lot of us (even those who were happy to see Fulmer go) have stated they'd love to see Fulmer become AD.

Really? By whom? I haven't heard that, but it doesn't mean it isn't true, and I'm not discounting anything you said. Not exactly politically correct...but some of my Vol buddies have spoken positively about Hart taking on...shall we say...what they described as the LGBT wing of your athletic department...consolidating what was basically two athletic departments into one and cutting significant costs.

One of the girls was a trainer I worked with. She said there were definitely girls who put out and who didn't (she said she usually ended up taking out a Tim Tebow types as a result
). They were never paid but rarely had to pay for anything on a visit either. I have no doubt every major college does this. UK included.

One of our paysite recruiting guys that is trusted. I can't remember precisely now but I *think* it might've been Brent Hubbs but it was def one of our VQ (rivals) or 247 guys and both sites are very good when it comes to inside info involving UT. FWIW, our VQ and 247 writers are damn good and are quite conservative. The exception is Wes Rucker (he's a shite on twitter but his written work for 247 is often good but often snide/negative even when it's a bit much) BUT Rucker also reported a negative comment by Cuonzo and very much hinted/alluded to Zo leaving and fairly early on on twitter.
ETA: They're being unfair about the consolidation. UT had always operated two depts. and the women's AD was a model. However, the woman who raised the biggest stink was fugly and didn't come across well to say the least BUT make no mistake the women's AD was awesome, quite good at what they did and helpful to the university. It was consolidated in large part to help the Men's AD as there was no real financial reason to consolidate (drop in the bucket and women's bball was profitable). Men in the Women's AD also complained loudly of this and it was just the women's AD/Consolidation that showed Hart to be heavyhanded although like I said he's mellowed.

Under Kiffin. But later years under Fulmer may have changed things or she could've just been a huah/cleat chaser. Just telling you what I know from the 90s Era and I believe through the early era of the 00s.
And I have no doubts that even then shite went on. It was just less obvious and more reliant on girl spends time with young stud and both do what comes naturally as well as reliant on certain girls "self-selecting" if you get my drift.

People need to shut the hell up with the "i have no doubt every major college does this" bulls***. Give evidence or shove it up your arse. There was an entire book written about this case filled with interviews and evidence, so Lane Kiffin and whoever else was involved with this sh** at UT need to be kicked out of college athletics. Saying you have no doubt it happens at other schools is like sayin you have no doubt your coaches at your school will lie and cover up sh** like FSU's do for Jameis. Not every major college is filled with scumbags.

I'm sure it happens just not in a university acting as Pimp kinda way. More like two young people meet and do what young people do as well as certain girls who may be signing up in the hopes of landing a star (although that's far less than folks imagine). BUT I'm also pretty sure it's NOT something that happens all the time, especially not via Coach acting as Pimp.
I also agree, coaches acting as Pimp ought to be booted. These girls are YOUNG and it's not right in any way shape or form for coaches to ask them to basically be whores.
