Well hell, why else would you put up with the bullshite of being in government if not for the personal enrichment? Any history student knows thats how it works.

He's been using political power to guarantee business deals with, among others, the university. How much do you hear about WANI on gameday?

I used to know more specifics but it's been a while

He said during the debate tonight that he's all about moving Auburn University forward. Spread the wealth Mike spread it!

Isn't that what the Harbet family did with construction bids at AU?

I am going to stay out of most of these threads on the topic for my sanity and other reasons, but I will say this:

1. Not only is the timing of this purely political, the entire investigation was as well. Bill Armistead and his band of frittatas have been after Mike since the day they took over the state party.

2. A handful of the charges are absolutely a joke and wouldn't be surprised to see some of them dropped after the new session starts (by then they will have served their purpose though).

3. I am very confident that Mike will get his name cleared by the time this is all over. Again, the 2 year investigation full of leaks will have served its purpose as Mike has pretty much zero chance of getting elected gov

It's absolutely politically motivated....BUT....

Let's not pretend that he's totally innocent here. It is absolutely not ok to steer business via legislative vote toward a business that has a direct relationship with the one that you own....
