Christmas is coming and many of you parents are going to be buying guitars as gifts for your teenage kids. I don't think you can beat these Squier Telecasters for the price and quality. I bought one Saturday at guitar center for 179 bucks as a beater for travelling, damn thing is great.

get the squier telly, and the little orange crush practice amp, you will be amazed for about 250 dollars

This one was still in the shipping box when I bought it and was almost still in perfect tune, high E, or first string was just a little out, it was ready to plug in and play.I have 2 other squiers but they are the classic vibe ones, and a little more expensive, I am damn impressed with this one for that price.
