Any chance Mizzou gets over 100 yard total offense this week against Vandy?

The way it has been going lately I say under. But Mizzou still wins by 40+ thanks to 2 kickoff returns & 1 punt return for TDs and at least 3 pick 6s or fumble returns. Unless the defense and special teams are hungover from homecoming partying friday night. It is a given though that Pinkel WILL be hungover so his decision making might be eratic

you really think that if Florida was doing anything to make it a game we wouldn't have tried to actually play offense? It was pretty apparent to me Pinkel packed it in after it was 14-0.

So does starting a thread and complaining about a 42-14 victory. Christ if you can't enjoy that win do you ever enjoy yourself?

You know, it is ok to be happy with a win while still criticizing another poor offensive performance.

Scoreboard doesn't excuse the lack of execution.

Is this an LSU troll thread?

That's fine. I don't read his original post as constructive in any way. The drunk Pinkel comments were lame when we sucked, so when we win 42-14 and are 5-2 overall I don't understand why he continues to punish himself following a team.

So where in the thread do you see me bitching about a win?
You can keep on your rose colored glasses if you want, but damn they will not win 1 more SEC game with less than 100 yds total offense per game. Posts like yours are what make old school SEC ranters think Mizzou fans are milktoast and accept mediocrity. On my hungover Pinkel comment, get a sense of humor and please post less.

You seem to one who is preoccupied with what the other people on this board think about you. Who cares? It's a fun site and I enjoy reading what the fans of other teams say but I'm a Mizzou fan from St. Louis. I don't have to act Southern or put on a persona to try and get in good with other SEC fans. We are 5-2 and with Georgia's schedule may possibly control our own destiny in the East. Enjoy it man and relax a little.

and you're an idiot, Mauk attempted 2 passes in the 2nd half, 2. "yards" is a terrible way to measure anything in a game where you didn't need an offense.

You seem to care a lot about impressing the old school ranters

How about going 6-16 in the first half? Is that a good enough measurement of performance? Or how about 1.1 YPA? 6 of 18 attempts for 20 yards, 0 TD, and 1 INT is nothing short of a joke.

Don't really care want any other ranters think. Just making a point about milktoast Mizzou fans like the two of you that are satisfied with sub-par performance in an elite conference. You're right, I'm an idiot. By all means keep enjoying watching sub-par offense and telling yourself everything is just fine. MIZ-ZOU!!!!!
Maybe I'll see you at homecoming this weekend and I can buy you a warm beer.

The only thing that has been atrocious is the play calling, and that is mostly because GP has no balls and goes into turtle mode with the smallest of leads. He used the term "ultra conservative", considering "normal" for GP is pretty conservative, they basically destroyed the playbook and said "don't turn the ball over and we win".

In 3 of the last 5 games, Mauk has graded out lower than any QB in HCGPs tenure. Please explain to me how Maty's consistent lack of efficiency is because of Henson's play calling. It's not all the receivers faults. Maty is a one read QB who rarely sees open receivers. Watch the Indiana game and tell me he sees the field well. It doesn't matter how well the OL plays, because Maty gets happy feet and can't stay in the pocket. Saturday was probably the best OL play we've had all year, and Maty completed 6 passes.

I agree that GP has no balls and should step on opponents throats with a lead. And Henson's play calling could be better, yes. But that has almost nothing to do with Mauk's inability to play Quarterback. The signs were all there last year.

Gonna agree with you here (and I'm a fan of MM). The one I thing I agree with more than the others is this:

The question is: if Printz & CB aren't ready, then do we revamp our playbook having a moving pocket the rest of this year until Printz or Lock get ready next year?

And tell me, just what is your dissatisfaction accomplishing? Are you the annoying guy in the stands that bitches about every play that doesn't work and screams for "Pinkle" to be fired whenever the other team scores?

I know you and see hundreds just like you every home game. Do us all a favor, stay home and scream at the TV.

Really a shame that we lost to Florida this weekend.

Again if some would read what is posted, I never posted I was unhappy Mizzou beat Florida. Also you don't know me, I have never in private, public, or in this thread or ever on the Rant said Coach Pinkel should be fired. I have never in my life stood up at a game and bitched about anything. You may see "hundreds"at every home game do that but I am not one. I started this thread to troll for milktoast, mediocre Mizzou fans like some have shown themselves to be on this thread and to see if I and anyone else are some of the few that actually wants the program to grow and be a successful program. If you only want hearts and flowers about Mizzou by all means start your own thread about how proud you are of our offensive production. Knock yourself out. I will buy you a warm beer this weekend at homecoming too.
