Any team committed to the run will score points on OM. You have 4 teams remaining that love to run the ball.

Your logic and calm demeanor is really messing this up for the Rantards on both sides, you realize that don't you?
This is an early Grind isn't it?

Alabama scored 1 offensive touchdown. Did they become a pass first offense and we missed it?

If Anthony Jennings has the once in a lifetime best game LSU wins. I guess LSU fans are believing that is the case up until it doesn't happen.
In 2011, Ole Miss quarterback could have had the best game of his life and LSU would have still won.

Alabama outplayed Ole Miss in every category except yards per pass. If you played that game 10 more times Alabama would win 8.

They have nothing to lose.

That maybe true and if we played OM 10 times they would probabaly win 8, I just hope this Saturday night is one of the 2 we would win.

With the exception of points, right?

Wrong. It will take balance and an excellent quarterback in order to sustain drives and be able to put up multiple scores on the Ole Miss defense. In regards to the running game, during the bye week, defensive coordinator Dave Wommack said this:
quote:
"We have had some issues at times stopping the run, but I think that was more scheme than players - my fault.
"I have been trying to get our ends up the field too much and we weren't squeezing when we should have been. That's not on the players - that's on me and I think we have those things ironed out. We'll see."
Since that statement on September 25th, opponents have had 138 carries for 438 yards for 3.17/ypc. When you factor in sacks, that number goes to 245 yards. 1.7/ypc.
