We can run the ball against anybody.
Anybody can run the ball against us.

To be fair though, furman really only had 1 big run for 60 yards, and if you take that out, we would've had a stellar defensive game against a vastly inferior opponent.

Our pass defense was actually pretty good, but furman wanted to run 70% of the time.

I thought Lammons did well. Our safety play did not go well though. Gurley was out of position and had careless fouls. Moody's INT was a gift, any of us could've made that play, but I'm glad that he did.

Our PR did well, but like Spurrier said, we had stupid penalties that took back Cooper's big return.

We still have no pass rush. We just need to play gap control and hope auburn doesn't pass. I noticed a lot of our players trying to strip the ball, that was good, as long as the guy is being tackled and we aren't blowing that.

Thompson was up and down, some great throws here and there and then some terrible passes. Mitch and Orth both were meh, but they were in there with guys who hadn't played much. Mitch was better, IMO though.

Our RB's are awesome, hopefully we keep the auburn game close and can just keep running the ball.

Fry did well again, made all his kicks, but punting took a step back again.

Our adjustments in the 2nd half defensively were good. I think moving up to the box was a good move for Coach Ward.

I want to see more of David Williams. He should be getting the snaps that Carson has been getting.

Spurrier still needs to swallow his pride and run the ball more. We struggled to pass, catch and pass block against Furman. Just run the damn ball Steve

Carson isn't really a slouch (9.3 ypc) and Williams already has six more carries than he does in two fewer games. Carson is every bit as capable of busting off big runs (if not more so). They are different runners though.

I thought we looked lethargic on D.

I thought the play-calling was suspect once again.

He was supposed to put Orth in on the final series of the first half ... instead he put Cooper in at Wild Cock.

He was supposed to put Mitch in on the third series in the second half ... instead he put Orth in.

Mitch played the rest of the way after that - thankfully.

Williams got the carries he was promised.

We've still got serious chemistry issues on the OLine that will not play well against Auburn unless they are corrected immediately.

Furman had what, four sacks against us, five? Six?

We're still turning the ball over too much.

We still can't find a punter. Fish thought he was out there as a joke I think.

Spurrier is acting all weird - very standoffish. He's got coaches fearing for their jobs right now though. Spurrier is not a happy man right now.
