WVU is basically LSU's passion without the ability to hold their liquor.

I forgot already, what ever happened to that candy assed dude anyway?

(besides real riots need at least tear gas, rubber bullets, pepper spray, water trucks, and the sort. Did they burn couches, loot stores, or overturn cars?

I was in the AU student section at the 2009 AU-WVU "rain game" where the game was delayed due to torrential downpour. When I say torrential, and AU fan that was there will tell you it was basically a monsoon. No possible way to be in it and not be soaked to the bone. If you didn't have a rain coat or somewhere waterproof to put your phone, it was ruined. Yet I still remember their fans in the upper deck filling their drink cups with rain water and dumping it on the student section, like it even made a difference how wet we were. I never would have even noticed cups of water being poured on if I hadn't looked up for unrelated reasons.

tl;dr
Yeah... WVU fans are dumb

I don't know how the Pizza Box didn't get burned to the ground when they were playing UofL on the regular. I had a friend that worked down by the stadium and said it was regularly one of the worst nights of the year for them because of how much of a shitshow the two fanbases combined could be.

ETA: I went to one of those UofL/WVU matchups and it was nuts. Especially since UofL took the fine and sold alcohol at the stadium.

Morgantown always riots after a big win - they're known for it the same way Kentucky riots after big Basketball wins. What is interesting is the police reaction has changed. Tear gas and rubber bullets? Come the frick on, Police need to learn the best way to deal with a celebrating crowd is to be non-aggressive. More often than not police inflame situations with crowds.

No, you mountain folk just can't be trusted. At least LSU fans just beat the shite out of each other instead of tearing up Baton Rouge.

Pretty sure they don't since they're still under KHSAA. They talked about allowing alcohol sales at state championship venues and they voted it down a couple years ago.

Eh, we riot after Final Four wins and Championship wins. I'm pretty sure Morgantown is on fire after most any ranked win.

And I don't know that they've ever had to use tear gas on Lexington folks. At the very least they enjoy the show.
