Meh, it's the risk they take when they put on the uniform. No one is forcing them to play football.

I agree that the tweets are a pretty poor reflection of those individuals sending the messages.

That said, the players are not kids. They are adults.

This. I've been saying this since day one. Even when there is no pressure, he acts like he's about to get smashed. Hell a good QB don't even flinch when he IS about to get lit the f*** up! Not to mention the fumbles, int's, not knowing plays etc. He gives up ONE TD at least EVERY game on a TO. Holy shite. If he got credit for those points, he would be one of the leading scorers in Razorback history.

Exactly. If they can't take criticism then they need to find a new job.

I'm not sure what your work environment is like but I can assure you that it is not normal for someone to criticize you about your job performance by saying things such as:

It's normal if your job is on national television being watched by millions of people.

But their comments say more about themselves than BA.

And I don't think BA is good at all (although, he'd be better with better coaching and more reps).

There's an opportunity for a journalist with some balls to track these people down and confront them publicly about their comments.

The bumbles, stumbles, and shock would make for some hilarity and maybe make people think twice before venting some of that garbage.

but alas, we don't have any journalists with a spine around these parts.

Eh...still a kid imo. I'm in my 30s and I wouldn't want that shite said to me. It doesn't help the player's mentality any and makes the offenders look like idiots (although they're billy badasses hiding behind a computer).

Maybe they expect it, I don't know but I find it deplorable.

Which just adds to the stupidly of it. Do those people think they're 'lighting a fire under their butts' or somehow their crappy comments are gonna make the player improve? It's a lose lose- look like an idiot and kick the players when imo they have to be down already.

As much as we want to win, they want it x100. They work everyday for it.

I may not be the biggest Brandon Allen fan in the country but texting or twitting someone to cuss them out or act like a jackass is idiotic. Particularly if you only know that person by what you've heard and what you see on TV when they are playing a game.

He might be a horrible human being or he might be a typical college kid drinking and screwing around as much as he can get away with. As long as he isn't a criminal or getting in trouble with the NCAA I could care less. As for his play on the football field... well if he doesn't know he's been lackluster at the end of a game then me telling him that won't make any difference.

No shite.

That doesn't excuse the people who are tweeting shite like that. They're still massive douchebags.
