Watched the entire match on the SECN.

Thrilling win at the 2:08 mark in the 2nd by our freshman #7.

Was sort of disappointed in D'Angelo giving-up two goals in the 2nd, although one of them was just a nice shot.

If Soccer and Volleyball are an indication, Dawn will get good exposure on the network this winter

Getting a shutout would be shock so expected the Gators to at least hit the scoreboard. During the game they said how old the venue was, were they hinting a new one is on the way?

Oh no ... it's the premier soccer facility in the SEC.

But they are doing a remodel of the locker rooms and press box after the season is over. Plus our soccer teams are taking over the old field house and indoor practice facility across from Stone Graveyard .... which is where some of the remodel will be taking place.

Our soccer amenities and facilities are primo ... and are only getting better.

Have you seen the new one UK just opened this fall?

That is why I was trying to understand what the announcers were gabbing about. Must have been the remodel. Was doing several things during the game so may have missed the full conversations.

We walked by your soccer facility while we were up there for the football game.- we actually parked real close to there on College Way for tailgating. What's it called, The Bell? Something like that. It's really nice Cheese, pretty and new and all. But we were told by our KY friends that y'all spent seven million on the whole thing whereas we're spending more than that on just our remodel and upgrades including the new video board.

Listen, there is no doubt KY takes soccer as seriously as we do, both Men's and Women's .... we've just been doing it longer so our facilities are older, that's all. No biggie. They we're due some upgrades - but what the announcers were alluding to was the fact that our facilities are older and more vunerable than anyone else's in the SEC because we started taking soccer seriously in 77 when we hired Mark Berson and immediately built the facilities to compete against the ACC, who was and is way ahead of the SEC in soccer.

Our upgraded facilities are going to be nice once completed.

I think the Bell's were the lead gift and 7 or 8 from them sounds about right. I think the whole thing was around 10 but it was the completion of the softball the year before. Think the budget for both was 20 - 25 but they built it in phases.

Just to be clear, was not downgrading the facilities at Columbia, just did not hear the whole conversation of the announcers and was unclear as the part I caught and it sound like they were building all new. If you were in that grass field between soccer and the stadium, that is where the new baseball park is supposed to go.

I think that's exactly where we were. The Bell was to our left on the same side of the road and Commonwealth was across the Way and through this little parking empty area in front of us.
