Didn't seem like he'd ever play, not sure he was that good. Adios.

He may as well be processed for not being good enough for this level. This is just a better excuse for getting that done.

he has not played all year so looks like his spot is now up for grabs. I wonder if a deserving walk on can get one retroactive to the beginning of the year?

I wonder if Nick Marshall was the informant.

Maybe bamascoop was onto something about our players all looking like they were high on the pot

I think there was a bad influence on the team that "officials" knew about. That person has moved on to where this is not a problem, but this may have been related.

What a jack arse, though, to think he'd get away for too long with doing that in his dorm room. Someone always talks.

his room mate more than likely is a football player. I would be curious as to who he is and what may happen to him going forward

Many of our productive TEs under Saban have only played their jr and sr year. Taking out one unknown for another may not be as helpful of a "process" as some may think. It just puts us further behind in the developmental process. Hopefully another one will step up.

Does anyone know why KF hasn't been charged? That's a lot of weed and money for a college football player not named Winston to have laying around.

Well, SOP for the WANTF is tell people in his situation that if the become a CI and give up two more people on felony charges, they can get their own charges either reduced to misdemeanors or dismissed altogether: the theory being that this way they go after the kingpins. I imagine that's what's going on and why he doesn't have an arrest showing.

Confiscating the money, though, is standard (they'll often take the vehicle, too, if caught committing the crime in it or the believe that you paid for any portion of it using drug money), regardless of any deal the CI makes to withhold prosecution.

Most all of the Tuscaloosa Sheriff's Dept.'s Tahoe cruisers are paid for by asset seizures.

No they shouldn't. It's a valuable tool to use. Think of it as a stupid tax. Military bases were doing this long before civilians were. When I was with 3/6 at Camp Lejuene I was fapped over to the MP's and while pulling duty on the main gate one night, a civilian pulled up to the main gate in a newish vette and was stinking drunk. He only came up to the base by mistake but the Main gate on mainside is such that you are already on base for a 1/4 mile or so before you get to the gate. Apprehended him, searched his wheels, found a bunch of weed, issued federal magistrate ticket for the felony dui and drug possession and seiezed his vette; see, stupid tax for criminals. This was in 1987, quite a while before most civilian PD's started doing it..

He shouldn't have been a drunk criminal on a Marine Base. He drove by about 3 signs in a quarter mile spelling out what could happen and that he consents to all searches upon entry.
