What happens if:

-Mississippi loses to Auburn, but wins the rest of their games.
-Mississippi State only loses to Mississippi.
-Auburn wins out

Who represents the West? What about playoff purposes?

Auburn has the leg up on any tiebreaker scenario.

It would come down to combined record of East opponents. Auburn playing UGA and USCe is going to be better than MSU playing UK and VU and Ole Miss playing VU and UT

Playoff is up to the committee. All three would be deserving.

You take the record of each teams non- divisional opponents.

We need to sticky the tiebreaker rules

Auburn would go because their east opponents would have a better SEC record than MSU/OM east opponents

Auburn would go under this scenario.

They will play the best SEC East teams.

I will take Gus in that scenario.

I think he can read their signals.

The thread ignores the possibility of A&M winning out, and the remaining SECW teams having at least 3 losses,

Don't care

That's a different thread. So far today we have worked through Bama winning out and now we are wading through the applicable scenarios if Auburn wins out.
