Watching the game on TV. When the monsoon started a few minutes before half. Verne & Gary were telling us there were weather experts on hand monitoring the lightning situation. In the back ground you could hear booming thunder drowning out the sound of the cowbells.

I was thinking I hope they don't delay the game with 2:00 left before half. Come back, play 2:00, and then have half time.

There was no lightning. So why delay the game?

Pretty sure they said during the broadcast that no lightning was accompanied with the storm. Which I thought was odd, because I too heard thunder.

I don't recall hearing thunder, definitely not anything that drowned out the cowbells.

In the stadium I never heard thunder. But I didn't hear anything until about 6 o'clock yesterday. So who knows.

Don't ever really remember seeing lightning or hearing anything except cowbells, all I remember about the monsoon was that the rain was cold as shite.

Thought I heard thunder on television. Could have just been Auburn's dreams shattering to the ground though.

They have lightning detectors. If there's lightning within 8 miles shite gets shut down.

Nobody wants that liability.

There was no lightning but there was thunder.

I don't need/want to go into the whole meteorologist thing but you can have thunder without actually "seeing" lightning or lightning being attached to that specific cell
