Granted our oline is a shitshow coated clusterfrick with dumpster fire filling, but having Hurd or Lane in the backfield would certainly help with pass protection.

I'm pretty sure he will be. I think they took him out just to rest him and allow Scott and Pickett to get some snaps.

I hope that's the case. They didn't do horribly, but Hurd and Lane are on another level.

Lane sucks. I wouldn't call him the next level at all.

Compared to where Scott is at this point, I'd much rather have him in the game.

He should be back for OM.

When Scott adds some more weight to his frame, him and Jalen are going to be a really good 1 - 2 punch. Add Kamara in with those 2 and that's a upper echelon RB Corp.

There aren't even words to describe the OL. Coleman Thomas looks like the worst but none of them hold very much merit. The tackles look unathletic and slow and the rs jr center is getting dominated by every team that he plays. It's tough to watch. Very rarely do they get provide any push at the 2nd level as a group and it shows.

Some of the 2nd string guys looked better IMO

I agree. I think Kendrick and Sanders looked much better when they were out there. Hell, Kendrick looked better at LT during the Ark St game than Kerbyson has all year.

I said it in another thread but Kerbyson just doesn't have the quickness and feet to play tackle in this league. He could be an average guard, maybe. Thomas needs to move back to Center or be on the bench. And Mack Crowder needs to be bagging groceries at Food City or something.

Been obvious since OU that Thomas can't play tackle.

Give me

Kendrick
Jackson
Crowder
Robertson
Kerbyson

and move Thomas to center. Would likely be pretty good there next year and an upgrade over Crowder.

If Blair gets his shite together you could possibly have

Blair/Mosley?
Jackson/Sanders
Thomas/Wiesman/Crowder
Kerbyson/Robertson
Kendrick/Jones

next year. Would be much, much better imo.

I like those changes.

I know what you've said about Blair being pretty shitty but he could be the lynchpin to Tennessee having a good line next year. If he got his shite together at LT, everything else could start falling back into place and some of these guys could get back to their natural positions.
