What I think everyone should be more worried about than how this season plays out is whether or not Foley is actually going to pay the money to bring in a big time coach if he fires Muschamp.

This is why I keep telling people to not get so excited if Muschamp is fired. We are gonna get stuck with another coordinator doing some on the job training and we will be going through this same song and dance 3 years from now.

I'm really worried that Foley's wanting to find a coach to groom that won't be tempted to leave is going to turn this thing from a bad run into the lost decade that Alabama had after Stallings left or worse.

My grandpa said today that Billy D might be the worst thing to ever happen to the football program. He said he thinks that Foley truly believes that any hotshot coordinator will turn into a UF headcoaching legend.

Just get somebody that knows how to coach and had a proven track record, and then maybe have some faith in UF being UF being enough to make him stay.

Foley has got to get over the way Meyer left and to a lesser extent the way Spurrier left (even though Foley fudged that all up too). I mean seriously if Mr. Florida himself Steve Spurrier would leave the Gators, then that means literally anybody will leave us. Just hire the best head coach you can get whenever they leave.

It is over IMO. UF just lost to a fricking terrible, one dimensional football team, with a defensive minded HC.

We had another blown 3rd and 27 in clutch time with either Bama or UK. Exact same thing happened.

Kelvin Taylor ReTweeted two tweets made after the game. One was about him not getting enough carries and not getting the ball on the goal line and the other about him transferring if we don't get him more involved. Link is his twitter account

Can't say I'd blame him, but I will say that Brandon Powell was our best offensive player last night aside from Debose.

ha ha...Im fine. The game depressed me slightly but Im getting used to it

My observations:
team played hard, but not always smart.

refs really tried to stick it to us and the PI calls on Poole were not always called against the yeller & gold team.. the timeout called by refs at the very end of the game with no timeouts left for LSU is troublesome...I know why they did it...the explanation is that Gators defense wasn't getting off the pile of tacklers soon enough...but LSU was in panic mode to line up and they made it appear that we were slow to get up.

We had the game won when we threw that pass into the end zone...Westbrook is a blocking TE not a pass catcher...so we cant blame him that much.

Our run game disappeared and has some for some time....unless it is the end of the game and defense is tired. Our OL cannot seem to control the line of scrimmage...our rushing yds total was sickening and look no further to see why we lost. LSU made us throw on second and third and longs. Not a recipe for success.

If you take away two scores caused by return game...our offense was dismal. Im ready for a change at QB if only because we need something else to spark the team...Treon, Grier...hell even walk on Jacob Guy...anything.

But keep this in mind...we still have a good shot at the east title....Mizzou at home, week off, WLOCP, Vandy at Nashvegas and USC at home. Very winnable games. The key is UGA and we must beat them....Four losses to UGA may do in Muschamp.

Yes. I think we can all agree that Driskel, despite it all NOT being his fault, has had a fair shot to claim this job and secure it for 3 years.

Throw in Harris, Grier, or Skylar. It cant be much worse.

Our offense is WORSE than last year's if thats even possible.

Why the frick is Brian Poole looking in the backfield on 3rd and 25?

Why the frick did Driskel throw into double coverage when all we needs was ~10 yard to try a field goal?

Why the frick did we throw to backup TE on 3rd a goal?

Why couldn't we stop the run in the second half?

Why is Brian Poole getting any playing time at all?

Why the frick did Hargreaves injure himeself trying to talk Fournette?

Why does Driskel suck so much?

I fully expect us to get shutout by Mizzou next week.
